It's crazy. Even knowing the storylines in wrestling were fake I still thought kane was his real brother. I don't know if it's a testament to him, how much I wasn't thinking or both. Mind you I watched the two undertakers storyline as a kid. And knew later it was kane and I still thought it.
I always say it. The rock made the stunner deadly. So much so even the games gave it slight variations with different degrees of effectiveness. After seeing that -you'd- (I mean I) would compare everyone else's reaction to it. Then it was like well that was weak. Like a. *oompft*. That fake fall over dbz does to symbolize hearing something odd or unbelievable. If it wasn't good on it's own or similar then I had say I prefer not to see so and so in a match with him again. Especially if you get a sense that a guy purposely under sold it.

This guy's just a legend. I would say overall he is the GOAT in wrestling.
His Wreatlemania streak being the stuff of legends
Both his personalities, the Dead Man and The Badass worked very well.
His story lines were on point and his execution was second to none.
Some of the best matches with the biggest draws featured him (and the other great contender for GOAT, Shawn Michaels).
His longevity, in ring ability, the way he sold his matches and his story, his integral part of the building of the WWE.
In my opinion. All this simply makes him greatest of all time in his craft.
Taker, Sting and Shawn Michaels are it, with Taker edging the other two out imo.

@@rezarfar For pure wrestling and selling Bret is the goat, he just wasn't a natural on the mic. Though by the end he was actually decent and didn't flub as much. Steve was also a far better wrestler before Owen dropped him on his head, he could match it with the best tech wrestlers, WM13 is one of my favs because it shows how good Steve could be.

Also makes it just that much better that he's also a great person on too of everything else

Thanks for the Years Deadman! Unto the new era for the new fans, sons and daughters of fans of wrestling.

What I loved about the Taker/Kane feud was how prominent of a role Paul Bearer had. Kane was the wall that stood between Undertaker & Paul. Paul Bearer was the true antagonist. The perfect villain for a Phenom like Taker would have to be a slimy, crafty individual. Not physically imposing, but manipulative. Always a step ahead. Even going all the way back to Taker's feud with Mankind, Paul was always pulling the strings. I love that shit.
