My neck would lock from it. Keeping the tongue on the roof of your mouth helps a lot. The headaches from TMJ were miserable. I found it was made worse from difficult life situations as a teen that I couldn’t process during my waking hours. I was letting off a lot of the stress in my sleep and biting extremely hard in my sleep. I would chew through my guard in a few weeks.

You see, i never recognise or look to much into the mirror so i can see my jaw and teeth allignment, but recently i've been curious on why my teeth is not allign perfectly and why my jaw hurt when i wake up. I always remember that my jaw and teeth alligment have no problem at all, they're straight and in place. But from 2020 till now, i've been sleeping wrong way, and always putting my jaw alot of pressure. my right jaw is not in a good position, i think they're moving a little too back from the position they intend to be.
Because of that, sometime i bite my lips when i eat, i wake up with jaw and teeth pain.

I’ve done all of these technique for years and and still suffering and in exquisite pain. I also have cervical pain and attempting trigger point injections for that. I had a panoramic x-ray done about 10 years ago (I’m 39 now), and was told my mandible was “riddled with holes (osteoarthritis?). The TMJD is so bad that it has rendered me bedbound with the radiating pain, from the base of my scull, ear pain, eye pain, and debilitating headaches. Insurance does not cover TMJ disorders on the medical OR dental plans. My jaw muscles are so tight I can barely even massage them. I’ve tried every NSAID in the book, and all it has done is eat my stomach from the inside. I’m on tizanidine,
diazepam, Lamictal, and Lexapro for anxiety, depression, and seizures. I feel hopeless and can’t deal with this anymore. Can you point me in the right direction, or provide me with how to approach my doctors? My jaw pops and cracks all the time, will lock in an open position, and I can’t close my mouth all the way because it’s affecting my bite alignment. No one will help, and I can’t stress enough how much this affects my daily physical and mental health and pain.

🙏Whenever there is a problem with TMJ or mouth opening, chewing food, you would like to tell you from experience that while eating food, keep equal amount of food on both sides of the tooth inside the mouth and chew it slowly or eat soft food, hard things like Do not use copra, gram, brackish etc., exercise the mouth daily before going to sleep at night and after waking up in the morning and keep taking protein and calcium in the diet and be happy.🙂

I never had ringing issues. I mean we get that occasion ringing that literally in my case goes away in seconds and were far apart. I got TMJ on November 15th and I am scared because I liked to mediate in quiet at times and enjoy silence but not its ringing. It doesn't whoosh loudly. Its mostly a flat ring but I just notice it. I have done exercises alleviate the systems and OMG they worked. I had pain to open my mouth and chew but it has gotten better after two days of doing the exercises but this ringing started to come. I went to my doctor and they said my ear is fine, no ruptured ear drum or infection, but the ringing started the same day on monday in the late evening when the jaw pain got worse and ear pain as well.
I did some research and they said in most cases once TMJ goes so does Tinnitus. MY pain is all almost gone but the TInnitus sucks really bad

Is it normal for my jaw to pop as I am doing these? I don’t have popping very often otherwise. My biggest issues are intense pain in my jaw, teeth, ear neck, base of skull, and head where you pointed. Only on the right side. I can’t even cough, sneeze, stand up, or tilt my head back without pain. I have watched several of your videos and I think the exercises are working. My ear pain has decreased by 80% at least. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! You guys previously helped get rid of my plantar fasciitis, which was also a lifesaver!

I wish this could have worked for me.. I’m in excruciating pain 😖 and nothing seems to work..
I’ve been dealing with this for years now and have been told the only way to fix this is surgery 😞

Is it also related to dizziness? A feeling that your eyeglasses lenses are not right. That kind of dizziness.

Thank you, this seems helpful indeed, will keep it up. Dentist won't give me a new guard 🙃 and tiger balm neck and shoulder combined with interdental brushing aren't enough. Aw dear bruxism is a real pain.
