Phenomenal help Martin, showing how to actually craft trees by diy. We're just sitting here with a coffee and some cookies watching your joyful brilliance. Thanks a million 🙂
Tak , an excellent tutorial video. FYI, cultural learnings: Polyvinyl acetate, commonly known as wood glue, PVA glue, white glue, carpenter's glue, school glue, or Elmer's Glue in the US. It is called Elmer's glue in the USA b/c of the brand name, like plasters are called Band-Aids, cotton swabs are called Q-Tips, and facial tissues are called Kleenex. I am sure it is the same in Sweden, with some brand names being synonymous with the product.
Hi Martin, I have watched all your videos and I'm a big fan of your DIY/low cost style and video's! I do miss the video's where you work on your layout....I understand that your layout is already completely covered in scenery but perhaps you can revisited certain area's? Anyway, looking forward to your next video!
For sure! That’s a simple add-on to enhance the appearence. However, it’s possible to build very realistic pine trees using a completely different techique. That will take you much further on the road towards perfection to prototype. However, the main purpose with this technique is to keep production to a bare minimum, prioryticing low cost materials, simplicity and quick production.
Hi Martin, i really enjoy your content and already replicated quite some of your ideas. As you have a lot of budge ideas, i was wondering if you ever converted a Walthers DCC Lok (from USA) to run on a Märklin DCC layout. The loks come with sound for around 150 euro what seams to be quite a great deal ?
Thank you! 👍😊 The color reference depends heavily on what reality you are comparing with. Your selection of light source indoor have a huge effect on the color of the model material too. So.. What you’re saying is for sure a relevant observation for you, but not neccesarily for someone else.

Remember to pull while winding.
the yarn pines; would hitting them with spray glue and some static grass be a good idea?

Bonjour qu’est-ce que vous saupoudrez sur l’arbre et le tronc ?
Very nice tutorial. However I find that most products available to imitate foliage or grass are either too greyish or yellowish.
