- A major security operation is underway to prevent any disruptions at the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony. NYPD is warning of a "heightened risk from a variety of extremists.” Authorities are taking the threat seriously after pro-Palestine protesters poured fake blood over their bodies and glued themselves to the street at the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade.
