    Really enjoying the West Stand episodes, great addition to The Square Ball. Tony Dorigo is an excellent co-commentator and superb at his analysis of players and games. MOT

    When you hear someone like Tony, who is intelligent, articulate, and understands the game, it makes me wonder even more, why Sky employs someone like Andy Hinchcliffe.
    There must be so many people, like Tony, who could do a better job than that smug smart arse.

      Guess Sky want people who get on viewers’ nerves and cause debate. There’s far better analysts than Neville, Carragher & Keane too but they’re such hotheads when their teams drop points it’s entertaining

    • @NobodyChinsBigBaz
      @NobodyChinsBigBaz 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ryan__5661 I see your point, but I don't find these three anywhere near as annoying as Hinchcliffe.
      Maybe some truth in what you say though. Why else would they employ Hinchcliffe. I've never heard one fan that likes him.
      Best co- Comms for me is Pat Nevin on 5Live. Far better than most of the people the BBC use on MOTD.
      Going back a bit, use to like Liam Brady on Channel 4's Italian football.
      Ally McCoist is excellent too.

    Farke’s job is not to please or appease fans. His job is to win football matches. If he achieves his goal and some fans still aren’t happy, that’s their problem not Farke’s.

    In a large nutshell.....Apart from Piroe,who in my opinion would be more effective playing alongside another centre forward & would certainly score more goals as he did for 2 seasons at Swansea, the problem is that we don't have enough players who are clinical when chances do come along! Plus we don't seem to have a player who is particularly good at taking free kicks & corners or shooting from distance. Plus although we win many corners,as we are not a particularly tall side we don't threaten enough when we do get corners or free kicks.Although we often dominate games & often play intricate stylish football, we don't take full advantage because of the above-mentioned reasons. !!!!

    Tony knows his stuff. And does not even mildly dig out the manager. As a fan base we need to calm down and let Farke get us promoted his way.

    Honestly, Leeds fans, or some Leeds fans, what is the problem? The amount of negativity astonishes me. At a place where we have lost so many times, including under Bielsa, an immensely comfortable win and all Farke gets is negative comments. Get behind the team and manager,there is nobody better out there to get us up. Careful what you wish for. We all know its back to square one if we dont go up this season but Farke is the man to do it.

    If, instead of going for that 15th short pass in a row, one of the players actually tried f**cking SHOOTING at goal once in a while, we might score more goals.

    Everyone was a bit confused with the win on Saturday. We were so dominant, but also very pedestrian. We definitely need to increase the intensity because we have some very, very tough games.

  • @harry410
    @harry410 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Piroe’s best role is nick a goal in the last 10-20 minutes. He’s slow but looks quicker against tired defenders, his off the ball work is flat out lazy as the 10 which didn’t help when we got countered and he presses like me. Also the day before the burnley game I swear I saw him in wingstop in the white rose.

  • @Wilss

    When finishing is a problem, we need to play our best finisher.... Piroe.
    I also think Matteo Joseph would benefit from a partner in attack for a short while.
    To see Tanaka attract, and ping so many passes, says he may be a key addition to this squad, and a key central to forward passing player that we have needed since Pablo Hernandez.

    • @jloky.x
      @jloky.x 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Piroe is perfect when we're winning to come on and kill the game with space to counter into, unfortunately when we're losing he isn't the player you want on the pitch. We've seen so many times he's totally ineffective deeper or with a packed defence infront of him
