Hmm... I would probably be "extra" and mix metallics with sparkle, lol. You know how you did the cross mold with your metallic markers first? Like that! Paint first, then black resin then sparkle. No such thing as too much sparkle. 😉 These turned out really pretty but the magpie in me wants shiny, lol. Maybe a more opalescent white next time would make them perfect to me. 😅 Oh! I had an idea! Might be too much work but it's an interesting idea, lol. These pieces are the same shape no matter which way you flip them so how about filling in with a more translucent sparkly color first like you did with the white areas but after that step pop them out without filling in the background then repeat the same steps but in a different color and this time you do fill in the background. Now you just wait until it's at the almost-hard-but-still-sticky stage then take the first outlines you popped out, flip them over and attach to the back so they're now dual sided! 😁👍
It was cute when you said, let’s look at the heart first and picked up the round. Then said, ok next is the heart and picked up the star. 😆 You we’re so excited to see them, you forgot your shapes.
These are really gorgeous 😍🥰.. With light behind them they are going to really pop. Just beautiful. Gotta get me these molds and powders! Some sparkle in your white would really set it off and make it look more like a glittery snowfall!!; ❤️🤗🙏💯
I'd love to see your take on putting foil in your mold like you do your dusting the pigments on. Seen a guy do it and his were so shiny, but I know you would really make them Pop 🙂. These are really cute by the way ❣️
Hi Julie, I would love to see a video on what types of resins to use for which projects. There are so many options, with different voc, uv protection etc, how do we know which ones are for what? What to look for in the labeling etc. Even though I've been using resin for over 2 years, since I only use shallow molds, and use resin on tumblers, I use the same type each time and it's perfect for what I need. However, I would love to see this type of educational video from you because you are really easy to understand and you're always so in depth with explanations! Hugs!! ❤️🥰
These are so pretty, love the designs. They might would look awesome changing the "outside" white color to the same gorgeous holo glitter colors or even an opaque azurite blue...seems like that would frame the beautiful white figures in the center. I do like the little bit of transparency so if it was either hanging on a tree or in a window, the light would shine through showing that amazing sparkle from the holo glitters. A red, silver and black combo would be a lovely festive combo too. I've used these kinds of molds with soap as well...too fun!! Have a nice afternoon...Big ((Hugs)) from Texas!🤗❤
Oh, I absolutely LOVE this mold set, Julie! 💕 I *think* I got some similar to these, but they didn't arrive til after Christmas. 🙄 Just checked in my room - nope, they're different, but still very cool. If I remember right, I had to order them from Amazon UK! I've never done that before. 😁. You're right, a black silhouette would look fabulous! ❤ Do it!!! 👍 OHHHH, these are gorgeous, Julie!!! 💕❤💕 I *love* the bright white against the beautiful, dark, sparkly blue! You were the one that made me truly like navy blue, btw. I never did, before. You know, as soon as you put that black card behind it? The glitter immediately showed up on camera! I think a black background would be perfect! Thank goodness for those "noodle-nose" tip bottles, though! 😂 My hand is no longer steady as it once was. Aging stinks! 😅
The transparent glittery blue/ purple will reflect really nicely against the Tree lights I think. Can't wait for my molds. Email states they've landed in Canada. Canada Post isn't as fast as Australian post & they landed at Vancouver & I'm way over on the East Coast.
Like minds here... I've been having fun doing Christmas ornament molds lately. Planning for Christmas bazaars in November. For me, using Q-tips dipped in alcohol and then blotted is the best I've found for cleaning powders off my molds. Baby wipes tend to get things off I wanted to stay on. This powder is on my March order list, so I am glad to see you using it. When you poured the blue and purple...next time try adding chameleon powders instead of the iridescent ones? The chameleon one give a beautiful sparkle to the resin that should be so compatible with these iredescent colorants. Looking forward to trying these combinations out! Merry resining...in February/March! 😎❤️
For the silhouettes you could do the same as you did with a clear instead of the purple blue sparkle back ground. Then when you unmold fill the front with a semi transparent fill in the area infront of the snowmen/deer in the lower areas left by the light blue areas. That way the light can come from the back and make the silhouettes stand out
Black/gold with same background just lighter you could also do black/silver and black/magenta on heart ♥️ black/green on tree etc switch up black/rose on heart etc switch up… I’d sell set for $45-$50 at a market
Good day Julie, I have a question for you. I have a client who wants purple and olive green together in your clock mold that I've purchased, but here is the twist. They want to add the keys & gears in it. How do you suggest I pull this off? Any suggestions are welcome from you and fellow crafters that see this. TYIA 😉
They are all beautiful but my favorite is you called the circle a heart and then you pick up the star and call it the heart ❤️ you’re too cute and ❤
These would look gorgeous on a tree with the same translucent background. The tree lights would shine through and really make the glitters pop!
was coming down to say exactly this
These are very nice. Adding a bell to the collection would be lovely.
Goodness me, Julie, you made magic!!!
Beautiful I would really love to see the black silhouette with the light background 🥰🥰🥰
They are georgous. I would love to see holographic in the background

Love you these. So many ideas
Really pretty. People could color resins according to their Christmas color theme or make for presents according to a friend's color scheme.
Beautiful! And it’s wax on wax off! LOL
Such creativity! Your enthusiasm is always contagious.

I love each and every video of yours
Absolutely stunning. Great job! Thank you for sharing.
How beautiful! Some type of glitter in the white would have set it off as much as the other because glitters would possibly look nice also.
I love them!! I just did my order. Thank you so much for your patience.
Very nice

Beautiful work! I have used the silicone brushes as little "push brooms" to clean up edges on intricate designs.
Just beautiful, what was the white liquid you poured into the molds before the resin pls x
Finally decided to get your gorgeous puffy heart mold sent to England and they have sold out 😭, will they be available again?
