i don't think most men really get that what andrew does happens to women all the time. i doubt i have many female friends it hasn't happened to. sometimes they just won't leave you alone and you just have to let them do whatever to get it over with. they never think they did anything wrong. they're just accustomed to getting their way like this i guess.

Serious question: Why wouldn't the lady say something like "no, and if you ask me again I'm kicking you out of my house?" It hurt seeing Tim so emotional, so hurt. I'm so proud of him for bringing this up, while being disapproving of the awful actions that Callaghan admitted to, I understand Tim not wanting to outright condemn him as a human being. I'm hoping he can come forward and just try to apologize, just come forward honestly. It won't make what he's done right, it'd at least show maturity on his part. Thanks Tim, genuinely great job.
Edited to reflect that Callaghan had come forward and admitted to the pressuring of women for sex while under the influence of alcohol, while not a sole reason for his pestering, can be considered a contributing factor, and is currently in a psychiatric ward along with rehab for alcoholism.
I am severely disappointed and sad at what he had done to these women that have come forward, I must admit that I am proud that he actually admitted to it, which is a far more mature step than many. Like I said, it won't make what he did right, it won't be an instant healing salve, it's a start. It's a moment of humanity and humility. Best of Luck Tim, to Vic Berger, to everyone on the crew, and to anyone bothering to read this.
    Be vigilant, I love you.

Not defending his behavior in the least - it was creepy/scummy, and I can't believe these women didn't call the cops on him to have him removed, but short of somebody putting a knife to your throat or threatening a family member etc. - somebody continually begging you for sex and you finally relenting is consent. If you're merely annoyed/grossed out and your life is not in danger, say "NO!" and tell them to get out, don't have sex with them - mace them in the face if you're that uncomfortable. *edit* - ok, with the other girl it definitely sounds like sexual assault/groping etc. but at least she didn't give in to him, at least on the second time. This just goes to show you that you can't judge who somebody is by hashtags on their Twitter bio/their stated political affiliation, there are creepy liberals just as there are creepy conservatives (I say this as a liberal registered Democrat btw). I'm amazed the first woman protected him initially by not saying anything for fear of ruining his career.

What a disappointing and odd presentation.
You all should have spoken on the Andrew Callaghan situation. And dug into it in a more honest, open discussion.
But instead you are attempting to force comedy to happen, with the elephant in the room. And it shows.
Opportunity lost, in what seems to be an attempt to insulate yourselves and bury it.
    Very disappointing.

Pretty sad to see Tim go after people like Jordan Peterson or Joe Rogan. I love Tim's comedy and I think he's a smart fellow, but there's definitely something malevolent and obsessive about his approach to those guys. I've been suffering from severe depression for roughly 25 years and my brother has schizophrenia. We were raised in a very dysfunctional family. Now we're in our 40s and have been supportive of each other our entire life. Jordan Peterson's lectures have been tremendously helpful in how we deal with the adversities of mental illness and life in general. Again, sad to see Tim shitting on decent guys just because of his different political views.

Most people who are against Jordan Peterson have never watched a single video of his. Period. They get all their information second hand. There's no point in arguing with people like that because you're not arguing with people who think or investigate for themselves.

It’s great that Peterson has helped support you with mental health issues-which is where his actual qualifications are-but this does not give him a free pass from criticism or ridicule when he talks about (and is consistently, horrifically wrong about) political, legal, scientific, and other social issues. I have watched several of his videos and the man is incredibly ignorant when it comes to anything outside of Jungian psychology and psychotherapy.

Allegations; lack of clarity regarding what is being define as coercion; mob rule street trials rather than legal court of law as it should be if coercion is in-fact valid as it is a crime. Mob treating this as guilty until proven innocent rather than how it is/should be but the mob does not follow, innocent until proven guilty. If proven I would immediately end support but consent with coercion then demands evidentiary proof beyond a reasonable doubt the coercion is the only reason for consent. I also think libel defamation needs to be considered transverse if we're bringing legal claims

      "Repeated request for money"
Hmm, almost seems like blackmail and ironically coercion to _not_ share a story or regretful choices rather than kicking him the fuck out or other more reasonable expectations. I surely hope for their own character and name they can prove coercion as much as I like his content because if they can't it becomes an issue of defamation with existing evidence of blackmail for money already. 🤔
