  • When oil and coolant mix, it creates unusable toxic waste that can seep into the ground...unless you figure out a way to catch it and separate it. Which Paul did. He reuses the coolant and the oil is properly disposed of.

That oil sight isn’t telling you the level of oil in there, since there’s no way for the oil to leave the sight glass as it’s skimmed off from the tank. You could run it all day and the level of oil in the glass wouldn’t change.

It's looking OK but why so much pipe and moving thru the pipes if you can simply run a 3 stage filter system to remove those parts??
Go onto Amazon and buy 10" * 2.5" water filter system and the proper filters. Just where your first pump is run is there with those 3 filters hanging so when you unscrew each of the mesh filter ( about $30 each) you have the dirty pit below so any fluid you drip goes back into the pit. Those filters you just use different micron mesh for them. Like 200 mesh than 100 mesh and 50 mesh and you have a lot less waste and trouble because now all what run's thru your pipe back into the building is already clean and not destroying the pipes wall because the debris is already removed. And put a pressure sensor between all them filters so you know when pressure drops behind a filter to lower than normal than that filter before that reader needs to be swapped out.

3:15 - So the coolant was originally regular fresh water mixed with special soluble oil coolant and now you're removing the recycled oil but keeping the water which has some coolant properties without the oil but still need to add some fresh coolant oil back into it? Thanks.

Use KTEC Tramp Oil removal System and add some ozone to get rid of tramp oil and smell of coolant.

Nice work I wonder how much a turn key system would have cost you and probably not be as effective.

Rolltech Innovation manufactures machine coolant saver. Serious threats to productivity and health are bacteria and fungi which are commonly found in industrial coolants. This coolant bacteria filter has some advantageous features include: last a life time, with guarantee of extended life of coolant with bacteria filter - no consumables, no electricity, no chemical dosing, etc.
It is a one time investment, ROI within 4-6 Months, Saves on input of fresh oil and disposal cost like etp treatment, or giving it to authorised recycler.
These mineral oil based coolant are prone to generation of bacteria which produces foul odour, often from hydrogen sulfide [rotten egg smell].
Rolltech Innovation "Aqualogic" filter is an innovative and economical method of continuously controlling these micro organisms and the odour they generate. "Aqualogic" bacteria coolant filter consists of series of high-purity multi-metal fibres cased within a stainless steel tube. the dissimilar ions in the multimetal alloy bed undergo a natural electrochemical reaction, also known as an oxidation-reduction reaction. Which Kills the all the Microbial activity in the coolant 24/7
