You GOT this! Look into this tool. A “factory wrench transmission “jig”. From Factory Wrench. Makes the job much easier to remove and install the transmission. Every time " skillshack " posts a video its a learning experience made fun !! Crank bearing install i put the bearings in the freezer overnight and place the case on a light bulb overnight and the bearings fall right in " just my little tip I learned working in a small cycle shop back in the mid 80s " when you don't have the correct tools 😮 and be careful otherwise Joe Dirts "Klem " will stab you in the eye with a soldering iron lol 😂 cause your talking to my guy all wrong 😅

Im going to be doing my first engine, a 79' IT175, which is basically a YZ125 bottom end although it's ancient this build will apply to what im doing. So im looking forward to see Uncle Tony's secret factory sauce methods! I want to do some gasket matching/blueprint stuff, some minor porting which I've been practicing on another 175 cylinder i have already, but the cases is my next area i need to learn so lookin forward to see some skills Uncle Tony!! The bike I've had since 84, my first big bike. Been collecting parts for two years now so looking WAY forward to this part of the YZ build. I love the white frame by the way guys, i just had to mention that, looks f'n SICK...Charles dude, thank you, that blew my mind man...have a great weekend fellas, and people, JOIN THE SHACK!!

Thanks to Power Seal for the cylinder repair. Very, very nice work on the bike gentlemen. Bordeaux red with extra thick(50 minute) anodize is the basic formula for that red.

Maybe polishing and making the trans shift smoother and more direct into gear. I know you can’t boost line pressure and shift kit installation or messing with the valve body and changing to billlet input shafts. But I remember you guys did a vid on some coatings and polishing . Always hung around the guys who had them. Raced my old Oldsmobile a few times over the years before I sold it last year. 😆 haha and thanks guys did some sick work to the Honda 125 over the winter she’s fast and suspension is sick! The 93 250 is getting a few sick upgrades soon aswell! Can’t wait to see the yz trans come back! Sexy sexy sexy!

I got my radiators tackled last week with charles video showing the tips and tools needed. @@MXSkillShack I was really into drag and muscle cars for quite a few years. Loved learning about engines and transmissions about what you could to make and saving power. Putting it to the ground. Always hung around the guys who had them. Raced my old Oldsmobile a few times over the years before I sold it last year. 😆 haha and thanks guys did some sick work to the Honda 125 over the winter she’s fast and suspension is sick! The 93 250 is getting a few sick upgrades soon aswell! Can’t wait to see the yz trans come back! Sexy sexy sexy!

Im rebuilding my 06 rm250 motor and after this build onto the 04 kx500 bigbore.
I got my radiators tackled last week with charles video showing the tips and tools needed. They came out killer, im subbed to your page too, love supporting dudes that are making it happen and from the ground up.
Finding oem parts for these older bikes is a real challenge. Love the red phathead from luke, super trick. And that hinson clutch! Thanks for putting that in my bike 😂.
P.s. do either of you guys know where to find titanium base studs for a 2006 rm250?
