I knew a black guy and his sister that had this same condition. Every day when he'd get off the buss, all the black kids would go after him and he'd try to run away but they'd quickly catch him and he immediately would start crying because he knew what was about to happen next. Them kids would drag him to the woods holding his mouth so he can't scream and I'd sneak and follow them from a distance to see what they was about to do. They tied him to a tree and strip him naked and call him names for his condition while beating the living hell out of him with a belt with the buckle. They would beat him until he passed out from over an hour or two of crying and pain and blood. Then they'd untie him and wipe off all the blood and drag him to the middle of the field and leave him naked where he would eventually wake up hours later.

I’m experiencing this “reverse” in my vitiligo as well. Its been happening over time slowly as time goes on, but I’ve regained a lot of pigment back. Compared to when I was younger.
Baby Goose What are you talking about?? You shouldn’t be mad that people don’t know about a certain disorder because they don’t know. They’re just being cautious of themselves
I didn’t know that pigment can come back when you have vitiligo. I kinda thought it was almost like a birthmark and that the pigment stays how it is. Very cool story and very cool guy
I have vitiligo too and well mine comes and goes as tiny bits by my emotions, bad mood? There it goes my normal skin. Feelin’ all good? Hell yea it’s coming back again! But the changes are not major, just I notice it and well anybody else if I tell them
Chippy R it can be really bad if a person with Vitiligo stays under sun or just in a really hot weather for a long time. You should be careful for that kid, and use sun cream a lot!
Livv Xiao i saw this dude in my school with this condition a a smaller degree. The marks were on his face, and the hair that was affected was a bit on the hairline and the eyebrow. Imagine white eyebrows
It can come back. For some people its harder because vitiligo has types as you can see here this guy has a type that also affects hair mine doesnt. I have it around my eyes and right shoulder. But I used to have it all over my back havent got any treathment at least for my back I got for my face and it just went away by itself over the years. I think that the most effective thing was my acceptance of the disease. I love it, it is a part of me.
As a mom of rare and special children I want to speak on behalf of his mom and her choice of using makup on him. I know when he is looking back, he doesnt like it and might not understand why she did that. I bet it wasn't that his mom tired I change him or cover him..just that hearing others say hurtful and hateful things about and to your chikd, you would do anything to get it to stop. 🥺Right or wrong..in the end she was trying to save her baby from pain. I hope the whole world becomes more accepting of all unique individuals💕
I personally think it was because of her own personal feelings. She didn’t like it. She wanted validation from others. She didn’t want to be know as mother with a “defective” child. It was more of a selfish act rather than to “protect” him bullying. A lot of people use the “it’s to protect you” excuse, when it’s not always the case.
@@singularityphoenix0369 Do you have a child who looks different? Is disfigured? Has tourettes and yells out? Has artificial body parts? Has an extra X chromosome and doest look like their peers? Has very public meltdowns or talks differently or not at all? I'm sorry, but until you live this and you hear the taunts, (yes, even from close minded adults) you have no right to judge this mom or assume anything selfish about her. I KNOW what it feels like to love your child more than yourself, accept accept fully as they are, but STILL want to protect them from evey stare, and hurtful word. Protect them from ever having to feel the pain of rejection and judgment. As a loving parent of a special child, you desperately want them to be included and for people not run in fear! My kids have been left out, run from, mocked and humiliated. It was so hard for them to make friends and to just be given a chance! Until you know that pain FOR YOUR CHILD,(not for yourself, because I would feel that pain million times over for MYSELF, if it meant they didn't have to!), then you get to fall back and take several seats.
@@breezeh1127 Those things are different. This is about vitiligo, but what I meant also applies to those. It’s basic human thinking. Have you seen the new Cruella Deville movie? It’s a perfect example of what im talking about. I’m not saying that she wasn’t trying to protect their child, but she’s still human at the end of the day. Why did she have to cover him even as a baby? The pictures too, she would apply makeup on him. She had preference on what SHE WANTED him to look like. I might not have a kid that’s diferente but i was a kid that was different. Many mothers have admitted to doing these things not only to protect the child. I know she loves him unconditionally(hopefully) but she’s still regular human being that’s subject to human emotions.
@@singularityphoenix0369 I'm living it..I don't need a movie to prove to me anything. No, vitiligo is NOT different than the things I mentioned. What I do know is, you are projecting a lot onto this women with very little actual knowledge about this women or her story. You have no idea what she was thinking or feeling in her heart. You don't think parents try and protect their kids from hate and harm even as a baby? As a baby, a photographer can still judge your baby and make rude comments. Just ask my daughter. As a baby, we have these photos taken to display on the walls of our homes for everyone to see. As he grew up, HE may be mad he was photographed that way and that it was up for all to see.. (I have friends with vitiligo, who hide it to this day..they don't want anyone to know!) As a parent, you have to take a lot of guesses and make a lot of decisions that are impossible. YOU are looking from the outside in and easily making armchair judgments about this mom, that you have no right to make. Here is an example of these impossible parent choices: I chose not to write about my children's disabilities in their baby books. Not becasue I was ashamed or hiding it (no one would read them but my children), but because I felt that maybe one day IF they wanted to share the memories, I wanted to err on the side of caution, that maybe they might not be ok with who they are and may need time. It takes a lifetime for self acceptance. That goes for everyone. Maybe they wouldn't want to read a baby book peppered with trauma and hardships and instead just want to enjoy sweet memories and holiday outings. I didn't erase them, I didn't hide them, I made a parenting decision. The best decision I could make, with what I had at the time. (Same for her, most likely) NOT knowing who they would be or how strong they would be, or what they could handle, we do our best. Turns out half my kids wanted all the trauma written, the other half didn't. You can't win as a parent, but you sure can be judge. Like I said, I did the best I could, but I know how it may look to someone like you, judging from the outside. Maybe she wanted his memories to be about being a baby..not about a condition he may have wanted to run from. As a parent we cannot see into the future about what a child may or may not accept about themselves. Or may or may not want to re-live or share. I have another child who wants me to burn all their baby photos. Yet, I thought at the time I was doing the right thing. I had no way to know what was coming. You know why those photos upset them?? Because my child is Transgender, and who they were, is NOT who they are now. THEY hate their pictures and want them gone. Please don't begin to presume what someone else is doing or not doing for their children. Until you live this woman's exact scenario, in her exact shoes, with her exact upbringing and background, take a few seats.
@@breezeh1127 Also about your trans child, I believe they should go to therapy. They shouldn’t have to feel that extreme about baby pics, if they’re transitioning in a healthy way.

But it's not all about looking great.
I'm 18 and i have Vitiligo for more than 12 years now,.. I have gone to depression, anxiety, inferiority complex ecc because of this. I rarely take selfies or picture in general because of it.. There are a lot of type of vitiligo, for me when i get out in a sunny day, after a while, start burning soo bad and then even if i go inside it doesn't stop for at least 6-7 hours. I tryed doing UV laser treatment for 10 years but that just damaged my skin more and now my skin get itchy very quickly. Everyday it's a struggle to watch me in the mirror and accept me.. But yeah whatever thanks for the video, normally no one never talk about Vitiligo. I just wanted to share this somewhere i needed it, i feel better already.. Have a nice day to everyone. :)
I sure hope you can start to accept your difference and embrace it! We all are different in some ways, some more than others, and it doesn't make you who you are, but it can make you that much more unique! Best wishes to you!

Felt like a freak for having to cover it and wished for the longest time for it to go away. I graduated and during college I just gave up on covering it, my step dad help me alot in being proud of my spots. Now Im 100% in love with my spots and I stopped wearing makeup everyday and instead, consider my vitiligo my natural makeup 😊

Pancaketophat however we need to remember that racial differences are more than just skin colour. it affect height, your skull shape, facial features, and many more stuff including your brain. And that does not mean one race is better or worst than other. It means we are different and different races on average does tend to stick to their specyfic traits that they evolve to. And that can influence who we are to the world and who we are to other people. skin tone is just one of most visible part of human races Its same wirh dogs btw, there are very different races of them, all of them are still just grey wolf by all biological means. Yet they are so different not only phisically, their brain works so different.
I don't care what anybody says but vitiligo is actually beautiful! His skin looks so interesting. It's sad that must of the people with vitiligo feel like they have to cover it so that people do not judge them. I would have loved to see Michael Jackson without all the makeup he felt he had to use to avoid having people attacking over it💕
I see your point about accepting vitiligo, but at the time MJ was diagnosed it was not a well known condition to the general public. Not to mention, when you're the most famous person on the planet it would be extremely difficult to let the world see that.

I understand what he means, I don’t have the skin condition, but I realize he wants to be his own person, and his skin makes him unique which to me is amazing
There is also pigmentation in the hair strands, not only the melanin/skin, its the pigmentation in the hair that makes it look black/brown/blonde whatever, if you lose pigmentation in the skin on your head, you will also lose pigmentation in the hair that grows out which results in completely white hair.
I have always found vitiligo, albinism, and melanism to be extremely beautiful! Anyone who looks like this but does not have health issues is extremely lucky in my opinion, it's just so beautiful! Never heard of vitiligo reversing though, hopefully this guy gets to keep his natural body art.
CCG Bass and More I must have my personal reasons why I say this. Everyone is entitled to have their opinions. In early days women were more submissive it didn't really matter
There's no such thing as the 'human race'. If you wish to go deeper... as much as I hate lumping all races into a category, we are the human 'species'. Anyone that doesn't see the difference is doing a great disservice to their history and culture.
You can't ignore differences in genetics, mentally and physically. It's not necessarily a bad thing, all I'm saying is that race is deeper than pigment. If I somehow spontaneously became 'black' tomorrow, that doesn't change my ethnicity.

Which sounds good but has little to do with the realities of the effects that enduring constant cruelty has on any living, breathing, feeling, being.

I’m experiencing this “reverse” in my vitiligo as well. Its been happening over time slowly as time goes on, but I’ve regained a lot of pigment back. Compared to when I was younger.
How did it happen because i wanna reverse it too i'm suffering pls help
I can’t stand the type of people who think every damn thing they see is contagious. Ignorance.
Baby Goose What are you talking about?? You shouldn’t be mad that people don’t know about a certain disorder because they don’t know. They’re just being cautious of themselves
Coming from covid 19 crisis and ignorance is such that a thing that IS contagious has so many people believe it is not
Monkeyonloose that doesn’t mean one should make assumptions about someone immediately.
Pathfinder EXACTLY!
The most contagious they should be concerned with is ignorance.
But the changes are not major, just I notice it and well anybody else if I tell them
Devil's Eye Is it ok to be in the sun during Summer for those with vitiligo? I know of a 8yr old child who has vitiligo
Bro you look like you can be a X-Men character lol in a cool way
So you’re the person who took my name all those years ago
your name?
Domino has vitiligo.

He has a cruella deville vibe because of his hair. That’s a popular look these days!

Bradley Morgan - He reminds me of Big Shaq
Bradley Morgan Jake Paul would start roasting him knowing him
As a mom of rare and special children I want to speak on behalf of his mom and her choice of using makup on him.
Personally I think Vitiligo is so beautiful and unique.

Thee Bos I bet you're beautiful
I sure hope you can start to accept your difference and embrace it! We all are different in some ways, some more than others, and it doesn't make you who you are, but it can make you that much more unique! Best wishes to you!

hey, there was a video i came across that the woman helped her son heal with a cream on amazon and using vitamin pills from the store. over the year his vitiligo slowly faded. I am purchasing the cream soon, its around 80$
Thee Bos I don't know you but thank you for sharing and continue to fight for happiness. If you need something to take the edge off I highly suggest cannabis if you haven't already. It's not going to change things but it is medicine and it will help how you feel about yourself and how people perceive you.
my vitiligo was always on my legs or body and easy to hide. I was very self-conscious of it, was bullied as a kid for it and did forget my spots since I always wore long sleeves / pants. my junior year of high school and my vitiligo started to appear on my face, I used so much makeup to hide it.
I see many sweet comments here about how beautiful he is...but they fail to see the true reason he is beautiful. He has such a beautiful peaceful personality and that is what makes people really love someone trully from the heart.

This is a fast and useful study. I`m recommending this Vitiligo guide *4VitiligoCure. Com* to my friend who will start their Vitiligo remedies to achieve a clearer skin. Very much liked this and appreciated the insight into how my inside issues can affect my skin.
People with vertilligo honestly are the best example on how skin tones shouldn't determine who you are to other people.
And that can influence who we are to the world and who we are to other people.
skin tone is just one of most visible part of human races
Its same wirh dogs btw, there are very different races of them, all of them are still just grey wolf by all biological means. Yet they are so different not only phisically, their brain works so different.
Amen to that. People are too judgemental
If people didnt look at the outside of people there wouldn't be racism

At first i thought he had dyed it to make it look cool, I literally had no idea it affected his hair
Mariam Osman yes because it affects the follicles in the same area
Saaaame
There is also pigmentation in the hair strands, not only the melanin/skin, its the pigmentation in the hair that makes it look black/brown/blonde whatever, if you lose pigmentation in the skin on your head, you will also lose pigmentation in the hair that grows out which results in completely white hair.
Mariam Osman oh yeah , not all ppl hair is affected tho!
Mariam Osman it can also effect eye color, some people with the disease eyes turn pink

1:10 - A black man with a skin condition doesn't just 'change race'. Race is more than skin deep...
theres only 1 race of humans being human is a race black is a ethnicity
Sarge, Black is not a race or ethnicity. "Black" is a color!
There's no such thing as the 'human race'. If you wish to go deeper... as much as I hate lumping all races into a category, we are the human 'species'.
Anyone that doesn't see the difference is doing a great disservice to their history and culture.
alZiiHardstylez race only defines characteristics and skin color
You can't ignore differences in genetics, mentally and physically. It's not necessarily a bad thing, all I'm saying is that race is deeper than pigment. If I somehow spontaneously became 'black' tomorrow, that doesn't change my ethnicity.
