and yuji and mahito are both alike in the fact that they’re new to the jujutsu world. yuji became a sorcerer close to around the same time mahito was incarnated as a cursed spirit. they’re both learning about cursed techniques, combat, strategy, killing, etc. They’re both growing as protagonist and antagonist alongside one another in this story. mahito definitely is yuji’s arch-nemesis IMO

I think them playing SPECIALZ at the end of the last episode was meant to be like, Sukuna rubbing it in. Like “this is your music and you did this right?”. I loved when the "You're my special" was played in the last episode. Some hate it because they were focusing on Yuji's breakdown. But some enjoyed the music being applied right there because they were thinking from Sukuna's part. Sukuna came, slayed, and went away. The bgm was a mockery by Sukuna to Yuji.
The back and forth shots of Nanami walking half rotisseried through the subway and frolicking along the beach is both beautiful and heartbreaking. RIP Nanamin. Thank you Kenjiro Tsuda

Yeah… this episode was real rough. Nanami’s death was harsh, but the illustration of him being on a beach, seeming to be in pure bliss, peaceful as ever even while murdering, then hallucinating Haibara and pondering over what has he did for what purpose and what to say to Itadori who is witnessing this… hits you straight in the heart. Had me on the brink of tears, despite knowing he was going to die at some point, as it was inevitable. But seriously, JJK needs to go on hiatus for a little bit until the animators recover and get their well deserved break. Unless they are right now, I’m not sure. But that’s that. It ain't about there being something more important in Africa for Yuta, it's about the fact that at this point the only one we know capable of teleportation is Gojo. Which means that if Yuta wants to make it back to Japan he has to take a flight there, and this whole thing was sprang up on them without notice. So even assuming Yuta was recalled as early as possible (which he probably wasn't) he wouldn't make it back until the afternoon of the next day...
I understood the meaning behind the author's use of the word "curse" in Nanami's statement, "That would become a curse for him." In the first episode, Itadori's grandfather told Itadori to "help people until you die." Itadori suffered in numerous scenes because of these words. In the world of this anime, words are the same as a person's thoughts. I also realized that these thoughts themselves are the curse. That's why I think Nanami was troubled about leaving a curse on him.
The pain in Yujis voice as he called out Nanamis name broke me most… And watching Nanami after getting slapped so hard hes so tired he slipped n struggled to catch himself, None of us will ever be the same after Shibuya concludes…

I still find the words of chibi to be exactly how it should have been. in the last episode, the opening played, because it was showing sukuna laughing at itadori. that's what the op was made for. for that exact scene. yes, there could have been silence for itadori, but with the op its just better, since we are viewing it from sukuna's pov.
