I go to a school where our dress code makes us not show shoulders -___- There are so many things I wanted to try for my school t-shirt, but I'm soooo limited, but I cut the sides and the bottom of my sleeves and I made a weave for my neckline. I got so many compliments on my shirt! Thank you for making these videos!

I really like your left sleeve in the beginning of the video. I don't think you really mentioned how to do it, but I'm gonna try to do both my sleeves like that lol.
I just recently got plugged into the idea of recycling my old beloved t-shirts I no longer want to wear (because I seldom wear that style anymore) into something fabulous. Unfortunately the majority of videos I've seen require the body of a 20 year old to pull off. I love your videos. In particular I've struggled with ideas for the sleeves. There are lots of ideas that will work for my middle-aged body. And BTW why do both sleeves have to match? I saw a couple of your intermediate points that I thought the shirt looked great with two different sleeves. You are so creative. SFU business. Oh yeah. You should do well. :)

@hairluscious The scrunch is using a piece of string, then wrapping the string round the whole sleeve, and tying a knot so it holds the sleeve together - scrunching it! Does that make sense?
Can you go straight to doing the tank top by just cutting off the sleeves then cutting strips downward on what's left of the shoulder?

This was exactly the video I was looking for to jazz up my old t-shirts. I hate t-shirt sleeves but did not want to cut them off all the way. This is a perfect solution! You're the best. I'll wash them in my lingerie bag so they will get special attention!

WOW! i love this video, I'm going to try the strap with the slits ( 3:16 ). My brother got to see the band Halocene at his school and got me a t shirt. the problem is its too big on me :( so I'm thinking of trying that technique for the sleeves and collar. :) please keep making more idea!

@niharsunn Use a metal ruler like I do!! Makes the biggest difference. Cut into the ruler until you can't cut anymore and it will turn out even! Actually I just practiced on 2 t-shirts before I cut my Fantasy one (pictured in the Cut up the Back of your T-shirt video) and the one I cut in the video is the 4th tshirt haha

@jeffear21lhai Ahh sorry lol. It's all about trying it yourself and experimenting too. The video is not super clear cause I started cutting without knowning what I was going to do with the t-shirt so I didn't film every step.
@SadisticKiss1 There's nothing that you can or can't pull off. You don't have to be "like" any one. Don't let that kind of thinking stop you if you want wear it. You totally should :)
@northsideqirl It's hard for me to say.. if it doesn't turn out like you wanted, I don't want to get blamed lol. But I don't see why not? I love off the shoulder tops with long sleeves :)

Not as comfortable as if it was done using a sewing machine :P There are bumps along the side so try it on an old t-shirt first to see if you like it.
@xmelodylovex I go to university so it doesn't matter what I wear. Watch my new "how to style a t-shirt" video on how to make them less revealing!

@SuperCrayon900 it's the same as #2 but you add a string around the whole thing and tie a knot so it scrunches it up. Does that make sense?
@newbie0610 all shirts usually have stretch in it. If the material is thinner, you'll want to make the strips wider because it'll curl more
