Thank you. Its an integral part of the movement and I've been demonstrating it like that on classes for years. I was confident that it would translate here in there video. I hope it works for you in training too. 🤜🤛
Greetings from a raw cord in California! Soquete, your videos have been so informed and helpful for me. I've been watching them over and over. Please keep up the good work!
@@CapoeirawithSoquete Your videos give a beginner like me a lot to work with. Some things that could be helpful would be to explain the strategies to keep in mind when playing in the roda (malicia, how to navigate space). Then on the other hand, it would be great to learn how to communicate/coordinate with another player to create something beautiful. Another idea that could be fun is how Capoeira is used today, in MMA and movies. If I can think of any other ideas I'll let you know!
@@GordonWelty you will find a lot of information about navigating space in the ginga movements video. I believe that we first need to solidify our base movements and leearn to use them to navigate ourselve on our way around a roda or focal point. This is advantageous because each choice you make is unimpeded by an opponent. Once you get comfortable with that then introducing an opponent means that now we must negotiate for space (navigate & negotiate) now with an opponent your choices are affected and influenced by the opponents choices. So we learn to re calibrate and redirect ourselves in the moment without losing our base.
Ola Soquete! very nice video! also I feel your videos are original, different from the other same same..It would be nice to see a video of you on Macaco 🙂
