From what I remember from 4x4 Mag the Jardine ferry is the shortest and most expensive crossing in Aus? Believe there was talk of a bridge there with heavy objections to it from the ones receiving the ferry money? Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have driven across the river, but they now guard the “alternate crossing” to force everyone to cross using the barge. Thanks mate! Good to see you again!
