- G’day
This video we are here to have a very detailed look into rebuilding a P38 Range Rover EAS Compressor. If that’s not enough, I can also show you a manufacturing defect which I have successfully repaired in this video.
Having a damaged or worn EAS Compressor can give you plenty of grief, so this video for those of you who have the basic tools at home, will show you how YOU CAN rebuild and EAS Compressor for yourself
It’s an easy system that you can do yourself.

Hi Mucker just love the content ive watch most of the videos so far and still am, I am looking to relocate to AUZ from the UK and have got to the 2nd online interview when they let me know when for Maca. Its a fifo 2 .1 roster they said about Technical questions and other questions about me and back ground. Just wondered if you new what sort of questions they will ask thanks for your time and love the content Danny.
G’day Danny, congrats mate! It sounds like a pretty good gig, that’s really good to hear. No doubt they’re going to ask your intentions (how long you plan to be with them) and the skills on the machinery. If it’s technical, maybe they’ll ask some different operating techniques or something to do with the machine itself that “ordinary folk” wouldn’t know.
They’ll be interested in your background too. Police checks, work history, drivers licence, etc. All of that stuff will be important to them.
@@Keithy_W Thank you for the reply, I think moving to Auz for a better life than the UK would be perfect. The 2 1 roster will take some getting use to I assume great chilled channel keep it up mucker.
Cheers mate 👍🏻
Keep us posted on how you go
Thanks for the video pal, plan on doing mine next weekend, going to do all the valve block seals and compressor. Im not loosing hight but it does some funky stuff, think my compressor isn't putting enough in the system. When i take the air filter off i can feel it sucking but als can feel it pushing air out, is this normal?
It sounds quite possible that your compressor is buggered mate. You shouldn’t be able to hold your finger over the discharge, the pressure will force your hand from the discharge.
@@Keithy_W Its just the little air filter on the front i took off, guessing that's the air in take for the compressor? its sucking and pushing air out the little hole
That’s right, that’s where the air intake is.
By “pushing” I take it that you mean the discharge on the opposite side of the intake? If it’s coming out of the hole where you pulled the filter off, then it’s most definitely buggered.
Yeah that's what I mean its coming back out the hole where the filter is on the front, iv got a kit coming, will replace the piston seals and ring ect
Oh wow, yes, your compressor sounds pretty buggered to me 😂
Just buy a new one mate
Haha I could! But where’s the fun in that?!?
