Your videos of the construction of the windvane and the remote have been an absolute lifesaver, thank you for taking the time to make them. My Hebridean just took me to the Azores and back. Couldn’t have built it without your videos. Thank you.
Having looked at a lot of different wind vanes for my 27ft Albin Vega, I have now decided I will be purchasing the Hebridean, thanks to all of your very instructive videos. I'm looking forward to start assembling it the upcoming winter. Thank you very much for posting! Best wishes from Norway, SV Tiger Lily, Vega #48
This is a very useful video. I built my Hebridean some years ago, and on my 20' Coromandel you need to be fairly acrobatic to change course in heavy weather. I'll likely be building the remote control this year.
Hi, I am glad that have found the videos useful. I know that I would have liked to watch them before I started building 😊. Construction is pretty straightforward however. Do NOT rush. Good luck with the building.
What a superb set of instructive videos. Well done! Would like to see a video of you tacking, and exactly what you are adjusting. But, to be honest, that is just being anal! Thank you so much for all this, and I shall send you a link to me sailing with this rig in a few months. Thanks again, and well done!
Just got my wind vane kit including a remote so finding your videos very helpful. I'm re-watching them before I start building. Thanks
Best of luck building it. Very satisfying when it all works 😉. Glad you found them useful.

Hi, I am glad if any of the videos are of help. I referred to your blog many times building mine.
Thanks for these videos. I think this is the direction i will go on my little westerly cirrus that somehow found itself in seattle Washington.

Nice video, i am going to order 1 to install next year on a nicholson 32
Glad you found it useful, put some loctite on the nuts when everything is lined up on the remote. Probably not necessary but safety first

Thanks for the kind words. Tacking was straightforward, just turn the vane 90-100 degrees and deal with jib sheet.
Clearly explained - thank you. 👍
Stephen crowther glad you found it useful 😀
