As if there was any need for another reason for me to want Shantae in Smash, and yes I know she's a spirit which kinda nullifies it, let me dream dammit
I actually don't think being a spirit completely removes a character's chance of being a playable character in Smash. Only characters that are currently Assist Trophies I consider having zero chance... for Ultimate anyways. I've been an avid supporter of Shantae being a DLC fighter for Smash Ultimate and considering the release date for Shantae 5 is just around the corner, I'd say her chances are pretty high. I can see the reveal now, "Shantae Dances Through the Danger!"

I'm still holding out hope for characters like Shantae and Rayman, I don't see why they couldn't just use images from different games e.g Shantae's Gameboy Colour sprite or the original Rayman cover art.
