Adriana and I have been wanting to work more with our friend Lollia and I'm not sure if there's a better song to showcase both of their amazing talent!
I've been following Rooster Teeth for as long as I can remember, watching countless podcasts, shorts, and more from them so it's hard to resist covering such amazing music from RWBY. Adriana and I did Rising late last year and a lot of people wanted to hear more, so I hope you guys enjoy this!
I opted to find a middle point between the full version and the more popular cut. I really wanted to try my hand at that intro riff and found it really fun to lay down. Much like the last time I covered RWBY, I wanted to capture the original solos by keeping them relatively true to the original but then branching off. I also tried to push the arrangement to be a bit more proggy at parts by doubling the bass line on guitar. a TON of work went into this! Thanks so much for watching!

GamerBlue53 the first three volumes have great music. the rest have instrumentals that start to sound the same and are too upbeat when compared to the dark emotional foreshadowing of the songs on the first three volumes.
@@hayescamp I really enjoy the older songs. Trust love, Touch the Sky, Path to Isolation etc are some of my all time favorites. I think the various tracks perfectly encapsulate the emotions portrayed in those volumes.

I have to be honest... This cover is so f***ing badass its not even funny. Not only is this a cover, this is literally a recreation! It is hard to find covers that are actually really good sometimes. I mean its all a matter of preference but here's the thing about this cover, it legit recreates the ENERGY that the orignal song has. Not many covers actually do that! Seriously, a masterpiece and you girls did an awesome job especially when you sing "red like roses" sends chills down my spine cause it is very well done! This really speaks to me best cover of red like roses by far. Cause red like roses is my favorite rwby soundtrack so yes very nice!

I remember coming across your Video Game Guitar Medley video on my birthday 7 years ago (almost to the day) and just thinking "Wow, I've never been more proud to be a life long video game nerd, metal head, or guitarist, let alone all three. Subscribed". I even picked up my guitar and followed along until I learned about 70% of the medley pieces, and have kept those versions in my repertoire to this day (Including a couple of your Mega Man X levels, because they were so well done, and way too fun to play).
Fast forward some years, and I decide I want to get back into RWBY. I didn't enjoy waiting between seasons, so I put it off for 5 years so that I could binge the way I wanted to. I've probably even played Red Like Roses Pt. 1 & 2 a dozen times in the last 48 hours. So it was very much to my delight to get off work today and come home, only to find this version of part 2 staring me right in the face as I open TH-cam. It was extremely well done. But holy hell, you have come a long way since those videos from 7 years ago. It actually started off exactly how I figured your style and flavour (I'm Canadian, the U stays) would come into play, but when you let loose on that personalized opening solo, your practice and dedication came through very clear. Your skill on the guitar has come a long way, and it really inspires the push in me to want to pick up my guitar much much more often.
Also, acknowledgements to the accompanying vocalists. You both did an excellent job in your parts, and I was very impressed. I think vocals are one of the scariest aspects in a cover when the original is so well done, and I found both of you to be quite well fitting with your voices. Especially on the harmonizing, which had this incredible sort of 'Driving Heaven' sound. Something I would expect in a very popular anime during some fight between the protagonist, and some ungodly demon. It was very cool. I think all three of you did the Williams' much justice.
FamilyJules (Still so weird not needing the 7x on that when I search it now) I really hope you're still very much loving what you're doing, and if you are, I hope you continue to do just that, and making excellent content like this.

The other two part (Jeff/Jules and Sandy/Lollia) are about equal in my ears.
overall, this is probably the weakest cover I ever heard from Jules, but that only shows how high the quality of his music is overall.

Hell fucking yeah one of my favorite rwby songs has been covered and I freaking love it, this cover is super epic, also it makes me wonder if we can get a "I burn", "This life is mine", "armed and ready", "from shadows" and even "like morning follows night" as time goes by, but when it happens, I am definitely going to not hesitate to listen because this was awesome.
