Surah “Great Atheism” plagiarizes word-for-word from the Quran. Here are some verses that are directly plagiarized, many of which are attempts to make the surah rhyme in the style of the Quran (rhyming is not what makes the Quran eloquent though). Much of the plagiarism comes from surah 17 of the Quran, surah Al-Isra. The following does not explain the flawed and basic linguistic qualities of the surah. Verse 1: The ending phrase, “و رتلناه ترتيلا” from surah “Great Atheism” is directly copied from the end of (25:32) of the Quran in an attempt to make the surah rhyme as the Quran does with the exact same words. The fake surah also uses a linguistic pattern unique to the Quran in this phrase. Verse 3: The ending, “تأويلا” is stolen directly from the end of (17:35) of the Quran in an attempt to make the surah rhyme as the Quran does with the exact same word. Verse 4: The entire phrase, “الذين كذبوا بآياتنا” is copied verbatim from (7:64) of the Quran. Verse 5: The ending, “كفيلا” in verse 5 is taken from (16:91) of the Quran in an attempt to make the surah rhyme as the Quran does with the exact same word. Verse 7: The phrase, “بلا قادرين على أن” is word-for-word taken from (75:4) of the Quran. In addition, the ending, “تفصيلا” is stolen from the end of (17:12) of the Quran in order to try to make the fake surah rhyme as the Quran does with the exact same word. Verse 8: The ending, “كبيرا” is taken from the end of (17:43) of the Quran in an attempt to make the surah rhyme as the Quran does with the exact same word. The author plagiarized (17:35) of the Quran in his third verse, and then plagiarized from an aya very near it in (17:43) of the Quran in this eighth verse. Verse 12: The phrase “و جهر به ليلا ونهارا” is taken from (13:10) and (18:91) of the Quran. Again, the author copies the Quran in the last word, “ونهارا” in order to make the fake surah rhyme as the Quran does with the exact same word. Verse 16: The ending, “محظورا” is taken from the end of (17:20) of the Quran in order to make the surah rhyme as the Quran does with the exact same word. Verse 19: The phrase “قالوا قولا” is copied from (4:9) of the Quran. The unique linguistic pattern the Quran presents in this phrase is stolen. Verse 20: The entire phrase, “كان ذلك في الكتاب مسطورا” is copied identically from (17:58) of the Quran. Again, the author copies the Quran in the last word, “مسطورا” in order to make the fake surah rhyme as the Quran does with the exact same word. Verse 21: The ending, “دليلا” is copied from the end of (25:45) in the Quran in order to make the surah rhyme as the Quran does with the exact same word. This surah very clearly takes entire phrases from the Quran. In almost half of the verses, the fake surah rhymes identical words the Quran uses to rhyme in order to copy its style. If you pay close attention, the author of this surah seemed to pick most of these words from surah Al-Isra of the Quran. In the Arabic language, there are 16 styles of poetry referred to as Al-Bihar. There are also 2 types of prose called saj and mursal. The Quran’s speech does not belong to any of these 18 types of speech, and is the only literary work in its own 19th style. In its attempt to exhibit this inimitable style of the Quran, surah “Great Atheism” clearly fails. “And if you are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down to Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a surah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allah, if you are truthful.” (Quran 2:23)

Al-Akib not just that, if they believe an illiterate man came up with the quran in his head and memorised it without even writing it down, then surely they are at an advantage with their linguistic studies and having the ability to research online and write it down. Why do they not replicate the scenario to make it “even” !?
@Abdul-Haqq look how stupid is it to claim the Enmy of islam won't convert and they died non muslims that is a miracle. In that case i can do my own quran and say tomorrow the sun will rise and if it rises I'm a prophet dont you see how ridiculous islam is now let me give you a real prediction from the Torah the Torah commands us not to believe in G-d but too know him he reviled him self on mount Sinai to moses. Infront of 3 million people. How many witness did muhammad have speaking to jibrail? Not even one. How hard would it have been for muhammad to pay his cousins to be a witness for him. This is impossible the Torah makes a promise there will never be a religion to this date that will claim witnesses not one! 80,000 religions and cults we have today not one has even one witness. This is a real proof from almighty Hashem! Not arab nonsense. Also if you want further explanation search national revelation jtv. Also watch Torah and science. Furthermore i challenge you too find one mistake in the Torah i can find many in the quran.
That's the thing the miracle of the Qur'an is to not only meet its linguistic abilities yet the conditions of which it was made. We will need someone unlearned in scripture with limited reading/writing of no literary or poetic backgrounds to produce something like the Qur'an - sometimes on the spot. This is where they fail, they literally pull a page from the Qur'an- imitate its style and change the Words lol what a fail.!
This is the problem with the Qur'an's challenge: it can't ever be met. Anything too similar to the Qur'an = plagiarism. Anything novel but distinct from the Qur'an = *not* like it.
"Anything too similar to the Qur'an = plagiarism" We are talking about a cut and paste from the Quran which in anyone's definition is clear cut plagiarism.
@Abu Muhamed Alee Al Ansari Yeah. Q. 2:23 "And if ye are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a surah of the like thereof, and call your witness beside Allah if ye are truthful."
+Phlebas By saying that you can't imitate the style of Quran without cut and paste is admitting defeat. Do you think a chapter of Quran is the cut and paste of another chapter. No. Some verses repeat in the Qur'an but each Surah is unique. Why can't your atheist friends bring something original that is not poetry and not a cut and paste of Qur'an. FAIL. DOUBLE FAIL.
These Arab atheist have only proven further: That the Qur'an is truly from God.. and that when God challenges mankind if you have doubt it is from God then produce a chapter like it, but they will not be able to..as completely true! Well done to the Arab atheist for further proving the Qur'an is Words of God.. now you should submit to your Maker..
That recitation was terrible. Their “scripture” says that we prevent people from listening to the Qur’an when they are the ones who are covering their ears when we try to show them.
The issue that arises from these type of characters is that the vast majority of Muslims don't know Arabic very well. Some 15% of the world's Muslims are Arab? Even the vast majority of those Arabs don't know their Arabic well. People like this are exploiting this fact. Because of this, they can come up with any crap and say, "Look, we met your challenge". I don't expect non-Arabs or even present-day Arabs to appreciate fully the full miracle of the Words of Allah. However, what DOES stand as a solid, clear, conclusive evidence of which we, as Muslims, should rely upon, is the fact that the Arabs in the time of Rasoolulah (Salalahu 'Alaihi wa Salaam) who commanded a full mastery of the Arabic language were unable to replicate the Quran or produce anything like it. Those Arabs knew Arabic and they knew it well. If anyone could meet the challenge it was them and if the Quran were from Muhammad (Salalahu 'Alaihi wa Salaam) only and not from Allah ('Azza wa Jal), then it would have been a very easy matter for them to produce one. They didn't. They couldn't. Allah told them to produce a Quran like it. They failed. Ok, nevermind, produce 10 chapters like it. Couldn't do it. Ok, nevermind produce one single chapter. The smallest chapter in the Quran (al-'Asr) is just 3 lines long. 3 lines and they couldn't do it. The pagan Arabs were even allowed to call upon whomever they wished of men or jinn to produce it. They couldn't do it, even though they claimed that it was Muhammad (Salalahu 'Alaihi wa Salaam) alone who produced it. The pagan Arabs were extremely hostile towards Muhammad (Salalahu 'Alaihi wa Salaam) and the Muslims as is well known. They were fighting Islam tooth and nail. If they could have just produced 3 lines like it, they would have succeeded. In 23 years of dawah, they didn't. For the Arabs at that time, if anyone were to come along with a fake response to the challenge, then it would have been clear as day to even the most ignorant of people that these were not the same. Even though the majority of Arabs couldn't read or write, they still were excellent at reciting poetry and they KNEW that the Quran was not poetry. The brother who made this video gave a great example of how the Quraishy leader covered up the mouth of Rasoolulah (Salalahu 'Alaihi wa Salaam) because of its powerful effect. There was one attempt that was mentioned by a brother in the comments in the time of Rasoolulah (Salalahu 'Alaihi wa Salaam) to imitate the Book of Allah. It was a complete flop. It was Musailamah the liar. When one of the Muslims came to him to ask what it was Allah "revealed" he gave some foolish lines. The Muslim after hearing this said, you know that I know, that you're a liar. When some of his followers were later brought to Abu Bakr (RadiaAllahu Anhu). Abu Bakr wanted to hear some of this fake Quran. They asked him not to make them do so. When he insisted and they did so, he was amazed of how stupid it was. Even Musailamah's followers were ashamed of it. Today, it's not the same. If someone comes up with the piece of garbage that we have glimpsed at here, it's not so apparent to the Muslims of how ridiculous and false it is which makes these kind of things a fitnah. I appreciate the efforts that the brother made here but, when it comes to the issue of the challenge and the inimitability of the Quran, we as Muslims should rely on the fact that for 23 years, the masters of Arabic couldn't produce anything like the Quran. The doubters and those who are antagonistic to Islam can't argue with this.

Ok I will accept the challenge of proving the Quran is false... The Earth isn't stationary nor does the Sun go under the throne of Allah at night nor does it set in a muddy spring nor does it orbit Earth nor is it smaller than Earth but bigger than all the stars 😂
'You prevent people from listening to it : that's the "daleel".' While you've had us listen to it. Oh no, there goes their "daleel". Nice touch that one.
I gave this so-called "Surah Great Atheism" to a GPT which was trained in Arabic, and this happened: Me: Linguistically, how do you evaluate it? Reply while remaining neutral. GPT: From a purely linguistic perspective, this text demonstrates an effort to emulate classical Arabic, specifically the style of the Quran. Here's a neutral evaluation of its linguistic aspects: --- ### **Strengths:** 1. **Use of Quranic Features:** - **Rhymed Prose (سجع):** The text employs rhymed endings to mimic the Quran’s cadence, e.g., "ترتيلا"، "تفصيلا"، "محظورا." This is a hallmark of Quranic Arabic and adds a rhythmic flow. - **Repetition for Emphasis:** Phrases like "مرارا وتكرارا" and "ليلا ونهارا" reflect a Quranic tendency to reinforce ideas through repetition. - **Rhetorical Questions:** Questions such as "ألم تروا" and "ألم يقل صاحبكم" mirror Quranic rhetorical devices, inviting reflection or challenging the audience. 2. **Classical Vocabulary and Grammar:** - The text uses a formal, classical register of Arabic, consistent with the linguistic norms of the Quran. Words like "تأويلا," "اعتبارا," and "محظورا" align with classical Arabic. - Grammar and syntax are mostly accurate, maintaining proper subject-verb agreement, noun-adjective concord, and use of pronouns. 3. **Logical Flow:** - The text attempts to build arguments in a sequential manner, addressing various themes (e.g., scientific knowledge, disagreements over interpretation) and tying them together. --- ### **Weaknesses:** 1. **Superficial Imitation of Quranic Eloquence:** - While the text captures some structural elements of the Quran, it lacks the depth and conciseness of Quranic expression. The Quran often conveys profound meanings in fewer words, whereas this text can feel verbose and repetitive. - For example, phrases like "انظر كيف اختلف أمرهم وهم على دين" are clear but lack the layered meanings found in similar Quranic verses. 2. **Inconsistent Rhythm:** - The rhyming scheme, though present, is not as consistent or harmonious as the Quran’s. Some endings feel forced to fit a rhyme, which can disrupt the natural flow of the text. - For example, "مسارا" and "اعتبارا" rhyme but don’t add significant depth to the argument, making the rhyme appear more superficial. 3. **Limited Semantic Depth:** - The Quran's language is renowned for its multilayered meanings, where a single verse can be interpreted in various contexts. This text, while clear, lacks the same depth, often presenting arguments in a straightforward and singular manner. 4. **Modern Concepts in Classical Style:** - The text attempts to discuss modern scientific ideas (e.g., heliocentrism, Earth’s orbit) using classical Arabic. While technically feasible, the integration feels somewhat anachronistic and less natural compared to Quranic discourse, which was deeply rooted in the linguistic and cultural context of its audience. --- ### **Comparison to Quranic Eloquence:** - **Word Choice:** The Quran’s word choices are highly precise, with each word contributing to both linguistic beauty and meaning. In this text, word choices occasionally feel redundant or less impactful. - **Syntax:** The Quran often uses sophisticated sentence structures with intricate word order that enhances meaning and aesthetics. This text employs simpler constructions, which lack the same stylistic refinement. - **Impact:** Quranic verses are known for evoking strong emotional and intellectual responses due to their profound rhetoric and vivid imagery. This text, while clear and logical, does not achieve the same level of resonance. --- ### **Overall Linguistic Assessment:** The text demonstrates solid command of classical Arabic, successfully incorporating some features of Quranic style, such as rhymed prose, rhetorical devices, and formal vocabulary. However, it falls short in replicating the Quran's linguistic complexity, depth, and impact. It feels more like an external critique written in a Quran-inspired format rather than a true linguistic challenge to the Quran.
The meaning of the imitation is totally laughable. LOL. It is not about rhyming like Quran, but its message should be lofty as well. If rhyming was the issue, then Musaylimah the liar brought a chapter like this: ""O WABR* (A SMALL, FURRY MAMMAL; HYRAX), O WABR! YOU ARE ONLY TWO EARS AND A CHEST, AND THE REST OF YOU IS DIGGING AND BURROWING.'' trying to imitate Surha Asr.

it means there is no like the Quran before and not after And call on all creatures to come up with the same before this holy book. That means everything's not like 100 percent. If one letter differs from the two books, it means is not like him, and this is a natural miracle in the universe.. Nothing like anything except the same.
This doesn’t matter because the Quran is also a mathematical miracle it’s words turned into letters have meanings do its impossible to make even one page like the Quran it’s God’s word what fo you expect.

The authors' level of Arabic is just like primary students' Arabic. They should have written something like سيقول المسلمون من الناس ما جئتمونا بالذى هو خير بل أنتم قوم مسرفون. See, any Tom, Dick, and Harry can write something like that.
@@LearnQuranicArabic That's my point, exactly. The miracle of the Quran is that people never stop discovering or uncovering its miraculousness either in syntax or in meaning, until the present day.

False, the criteria to match the eloquence of Quran is objective not subjective. I don’t think the criticism of “this is grammatically incorrect” is fair. The Qur’an went against the normal grammar of the Arabic and then it became the standard for Arabic. What if this author wanted to imitate that?
You are entitled to your opinion. But I just wanted to correct you misunderstanding. The Quran existed before grammar rules were written down and codified. In fact, the Arabic sciences developed out of the Quran. The best poets at the time of the Quran never criticised the Quran for "incorrect grammar" . A better standard to judge the Quran by is the language that existed at the time of Revelation and the pre-islamic poetry that was known. It's like saying Shakespeare's English is wrong because a modern English textbook uses verb forms, pronouns, prepositions, negation, spelling and punctuation in a different way.

and this is the basic problem with the quranic challenge... if the judges are always going to be muslims then of course the challenge will never be met. you might as well be arguing with christians about the empty tomb. there isn't any way to convince true believers any way that their religion is not what it claims to be. this challenge is not an objective test. this explanation is done by a muslim who of course thinks the writers didn't match the quran. this is a horrible way to prove that the quran is miraculous.

This surah very clearly takes entire phrases from the Quran. In almost half of the verses, the fake surah rhymes identical words the Quran uses to rhyme in order to copy its style. In its attempt to exhibit this inimitable style of the Quran, surah “Great Atheism” clearly fails.

@Abdul-Haqq hope you learn the truth before its too late for you
That's the thing the miracle of the Qur'an is to not only meet its linguistic abilities yet the conditions of which it was made.
ConsideringPhlebas do you even know what the challenge of the Quran is ?
"Anything too similar to the Qur'an = plagiarism" We are talking about a cut and paste from the Quran which in anyone's definition is clear cut plagiarism.
@Abu Muhamed Alee Al Ansari
Yeah.
Q. 2:23
"And if ye are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a surah of the like thereof, and call your witness beside Allah if ye are truthful."
Would God say the Earth is stationary and the Sun/Moon and all the stars orbit Earth and are all smaller than Earth?
You clearly just read the verse without reading its tafsir.

I gave this so-called "Surah Great Atheism" to a GPT which was trained in Arabic, and this happened:
Me: Linguistically, how do you evaluate it? Reply while remaining neutral.
GPT: From a purely linguistic perspective, this text demonstrates an effort to emulate classical Arabic, specifically the style of the Quran. Here's a neutral evaluation of its linguistic aspects:
---
### **Strengths:**
1. **Use of Quranic Features:**
- **Rhymed Prose (سجع):** The text employs rhymed endings to mimic the Quran’s cadence, e.g., "ترتيلا"، "تفصيلا"، "محظورا." This is a hallmark of Quranic Arabic and adds a rhythmic flow.
2. **Classical Vocabulary and Grammar:**
- The text uses a formal, classical register of Arabic, consistent with the linguistic norms of the Quran. Words like "تأويلا," "اعتبارا," and "محظورا" align with classical Arabic.
- Grammar and syntax are mostly accurate, maintaining proper subject-verb agreement, noun-adjective concord, and use of pronouns.
3. **Logical Flow:**
- The text attempts to build arguments in a sequential manner, addressing various themes (e.g., scientific knowledge, disagreements over interpretation) and tying them together.
---
### **Weaknesses:**
1. **Superficial Imitation of Quranic Eloquence:**
- While the text captures some structural elements of the Quran, it lacks the depth and conciseness of Quranic expression. The Quran often conveys profound meanings in fewer words, whereas this text can feel verbose and repetitive.
- For example, phrases like "انظر كيف اختلف أمرهم وهم على دين" are clear but lack the layered meanings found in similar Quranic verses.
2. **Inconsistent Rhythm:**
- The rhyming scheme, though present, is not as consistent or harmonious as the Quran’s. Some endings feel forced to fit a rhyme, which can disrupt the natural flow of the text.
- For example, "مسارا" and "اعتبارا" rhyme but don’t add significant depth to the argument, making the rhyme appear more superficial.
3. **Limited Semantic Depth:**
- The Quran's language is renowned for its multilayered meanings, where a single verse can be interpreted in various contexts. This text, while clear, lacks the same depth, often presenting arguments in a straightforward and singular manner.
4. **Modern Concepts in Classical Style:**
- The text attempts to discuss modern scientific ideas (e.g., heliocentrism, Earth’s orbit) using classical Arabic. While technically feasible, the integration feels somewhat anachronistic and less natural compared to Quranic discourse, which was deeply rooted in the linguistic and cultural context of its audience.
---
### **Comparison to Quranic Eloquence:**
- **Word Choice:** The Quran’s word choices are highly precise, with each word contributing to both linguistic beauty and meaning.
---
### **Overall Linguistic Assessment:**
The text demonstrates solid command of classical Arabic, successfully incorporating some features of Quranic style, such as rhymed prose, rhetorical devices, and formal vocabulary. However, it falls short in replicating the Quran's linguistic complexity, depth, and impact. It feels more like an external critique written in a Quran-inspired format rather than a true linguistic challenge to the Quran.
Thank you for sharing this.

The meaning of the imitation is totally laughable. LOL. It is not about rhyming like Quran, but its message should be lofty as well. If rhyming was the issue, then Musaylimah the liar brought a chapter like this: ""O WABR* (A SMALL, FURRY MAMMAL; HYRAX), O WABR! it means there is no like the Quran before and not after And call on all creatures to come up with the same before this holy book.

They should have written something like
