Most jazz pianists aren't classically trained, or if they are, they have to work very, very hard to forget what has been ingrained in them. I'm grade 10 and have been playing for... 15 years now? Yeah, I can't play jazz like this guy. Nowhere close.
Is there a drummer playing with brushes so softly in the background or is all just the ghost notes keeping time from this mind-blowingly spectacular bass player????? Omg this piece will change my life forever. Geesh. Too good!!
