I think she can tweak her makeup a bit to look more her age. First is the mascara. She can use a brown mascara for a softer look and it will blend better with her colouring. Next, she can use a more natural skintone shade of concealer than a lighter one. She can wear more light pink lipsticks than darker ones because they'll look more natural with her complexion.
I think people assume you're older is..... because you look older. I've looked older all my life until I hit 24, so the opposite of you. I don't have children so that definitely takes a lot of years off my appearance lol

Your story reminds of a time many many years ago I was mid 20’s and a single mom. When land lines and were the only option and before caller ID for reference☺️. The phone rang I answered then the lady on the other end says awww may I speak to your mommy haha I said I am the mommy at this residence and giggled. She says ooooh uuum are you older than 18 I say yes ma’am I’m 25 she then says oh my goodness you sound so young, I say thank you have a nice day. Then she calls back and says I forgot to ask you about your car insurance I was so distracted by your voice. Those type of responses to my voice have been happening since then and I’m 50 now haha. I got told I look 15 a few weeks ago while I was buying a ton of toothbrushes. The lady in front of me in the checkout line asked what such a young girl was buying so many for. I said I have 3 little ones at home. She looked surprised and asked my age so I told her. When I told her I was 27, going on 28 in about a month, she made the comment "you know, they say black don't crack but girl you don't crack". It gave me a laugh and then I had 3 other women make a similar comment that day 😂 I've been using anti-aging creams since I was 15 so maybe my skin got stuck in time 😂

When I was a teenager everyone assumed I was in my mid 20s. As I got older and stopped wearing make up (expensive, my skin doesn't like it, and it didnt add to my life so why bother) everyone assumed I was younger. I'm 31 rn and heavily pregnant with my first baby, and I've had people make pointed remarks about teen pregnancy in my general direction, and have had people assume I was like 17-18. When I got married about a year and a half ago, I went to a hairdresser to get my hair done for the wedding. When I told her what the event was she was like aren't you too young to be getting married? Like no I was 30 at the time lol. But then she also didn't believe my mom was my mom and already a grandma via my younger brother lol. She's in her late 50s but people think she's early 40s. When I was a teenager everyone assumed I was in my mid 20s. As I got older and stopped wearing make up (expensive, my skin doesn't like it, and it didnt add to my life so why bother) everyone assumed I was younger. I'm 31 rn and heavily pregnant with my first baby, and I've had people make pointed remarks about teen pregnancy in my general direction, and have had people assume I was like 17-18. When I got married about a year and a half ago, I went to a hairdresser to get my hair done for the wedding. When I told her what the event was she was like aren't you too young to be getting married? Like no I was 30 at the time lol. But then she also didn't believe my mom was my mom and already a grandma via my younger brother lol. She's in her late 50s but people think she's early 40s. Just got those baby face genes I guess lol. People keep saying "oh just wait it'll be flattering when you're older" but my mom is still waiting for it to be flattering when she grumpily has to show ID to get her seniors discount at restaurants lol
Hear me out on this, but my girl, stop with the heavy foundation and try to go for like a 'clean girl' make up look. It'll highly compliment your amazing features. 💕
