Should the H264+ option be used to compress the data and minimise HD usage? I have a new NVR setup with 2 X 4mp colorvu cameras but when playing back the motion triggered footage as people move across the screen the playback will freeze for 3 seconds and then jump forward. I am unsure if this is a steam/camera config. Issue or the NVR is not keeping up with the stream. Any help much appreciated Kind regards Danny
Increase your pre and post record time for each camera. To locate go to menu then record. Your pre and post record times should be at the bottom. Default is 5 seconds for each.

I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO SET THE CAMERA BRIGHTNESS OF CCTV CAMERA USING HIKVISION DVR AND also to stop the setup wizard from popping up each time the system restart
It will occupy the more storage than low quality ryt?? Normally mine is recording till 60 dys.. Now I will increase the quality then hw mny dys recording in dvr??

Go to record then advanced, make sure the overwrite box is ticked. Failing that you will need to format/init your hard drive to make sure the disk isn't corrupt
