Just got the b2000 js 1adr. I realize that although it’s a slightly more flashy, one can still wear it as a daily watch as the other one you have shown. Mine has about 140g after removing 3.5 links. That’s about the same weight as the others in the b2000 series. The other one with the rubber band has about 130g on my wrist size.
@ Yes. I tried the one you said you liked on first which is at least USD200 lower than the others selling here. But I felt that was a bit thick on my slim wrist. But I think part of it was because of its light colour. After I bought a used b2000 on rubber, which has the same thickness, and wore for sevearl days (sold now), the thickness issue disappeared. So I may go back to look at the one you liked as it costs only a fraction of the js 1adr and hence less risk for daily use and to bring along on vacation.
I loved all models you showed! I just dived down recently into G and I have to say, the quality of MTG series is also above than my expectations. I agree when someone surprised about the price of an MRG but MGT is almost at the level then many swiss watchbrands. Especially if we know that fact many parts of a Swiss made watches born in China. I cannot say that qualify is bad, but I trust more in the Japan QC especially in cases of watches.
Great little boutique I must say. Speaking about the new MRG, any MRG, I don't think that Casio's technology and effort involved in the manufacturing is too big......Casio doesn't produce a titanium watches since yesterday, they are doing it almost 30 years, since last century. But they polished a knowledge about it, a lot, and especially Casio polished a sense for a good ad, which brings the money to the company. Yes, there is something about that rubber strap, that's a ratio, mixture, thickness and a price of a strap, which is probably in the stratosphere for a rubber strap. Buddy I think you became a serious junkie 😀 good video
you are right.. G-Shock have been producing Titanium watches for decades and they were one of the first manufacturers to utilise the utility of Titanium for watches.
I have the mrg b1000d 1adr It's a lovely watch, I don't wear it though because I don't want to be a robbery target. I normally just wear my resin square.
Not sure if that was me... but I have the MRG-B2000B-1A1DR (Ninja Black) and use it during the Winter months. Absolutely lovely watch. I've also got the MRG-B5000B-1DR (Darth Maul) 1983 Square. Wear this for concerts, plays, theatre, Summer days and parties. MRG-B2100B-1ADR is firmly on my radar 😂😂❤❤❤
Love your g shock content! Ever think about getting the pressed carbon 40th anniversary G-Shock square? I got the purple one a few months ago and I'm absolutely loving it.
The 40th Carbon has always been on my mind as I think it is a special Square and the construction is brilliant. The only reason I have not pulled the trigger is that I was waiting/ hoping for a positive display version that I still think they might release. Saying that the negative display is still very good.
I am currently considering a mrg square, out of all the square (including those you owed) how does this 5000r compare with the silver or the black version if I can only get 1?
If you can only get 1... I am so tempted to say just get the B5000R as the rubber strap is very good and the watch feels so quality in the hand plus it will be the most comfortable. Be careful with strap sizing though. If I get one I will do a video on how to size.
@@masterwatch Yes, I think the B5000R is being a more "wearable" in terms of not so worry of getting dirty, finger prints and scratches. However, with the wider strap and buckle (without the lock) than the others makes me have different feelings whether it still feel like a premium square or just a cheaper version of the mrg
@@garyfung4151 the rubber strap does look it might be 1mm wider and I was worried about that also but when I have had it in the hand the width was no longer an issue. Also I must add the rubber feeling is better in real life and the buckle. If you are basing your decision on wearability and comfort I think the B5000R is going to win as long as the rubber strap is cut correctly and this is the only other issue or negative I can see.
@@masterwatch Thank you for your reply, I was still unsure whether rubber strap was good enough to compare with the bracelet, I would have to try them out instore and see
Awesome watches. I can see that you like the MRGs, but what do you think of the MTG-B1000 and MTG-B2000 (red shiny bezel in particular) models? Would be great to get your take on those.
I have the MTG-B3000FR (Solar Flare) and love it. I was being a bit of a Nerd recently as I wore this the day before a Solar Eclipse... On the day of the Eclipse, I swapped to my MRG-B2000B-1A1DR (Ninja Black)... which I thoroughly enjoyed to mark the occasion 😂
@ Based on your keywords "German" and "100 years a notable possibility is the Laco Edition 99. Another German brand marking a centennial milestone is ZEPPELIN, which has released the "100th Anniversary Series - Shell Cordovan Leather Daimaru Limited Edition" in 2024. Additionally, Junghans celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus by releasing a special version of the Max Bill watch, featuring unique design elements. We will see….. ☺️
And again, I am sorry for that 😂 I also really want to purchase MRG-B2000 or B1000 (I think it is probably a cooler than the lastest one) in the future, maybe the full black version.
Yes, I'm afraid that the moment I hold an actual analog MRG, I'll start mentally saving for one one day. Who am I kidding, it's inevitable. Just which one(s)... Cheers for the MRG bug. 😂
The watch felt heavier so it was making me think have they used a tantalum alloy or something like that. I haven't had chance to look further to be honest.
Geez, I wish they would give us a cheapo version of it. lol, the closest ive come is the grb300 and its got a quarter turn rotor instead of a hometime 24 hour hand dial. lol edit: maybe the mrgb3k.
@@masterwatch Yeah, but you can't mess with the analog ones that have hometime 24 and dual time 24 unless you pay at least a grand and if you want the 10 second minute hand movement and not the twisted metal 5 you gotta pay at least $2600 for the MRGB1K.
Just today I had a chance to see the MTG-B2000 Phoenix Blue in person. I almost started to cry when I touched it, so good, so beautiful, so perfect!
MTG will also fit very well, they are good.

G-Shock quality is very good and years ago I noted to myself that the Quality Control of G-Shocks was good.
