Does anybody else just love this presentation? The MLB does such a beautiful job at putting these together. It’s not just about the play to play, one pitch to one swing highlights. It’s the crowd shots, the announcing clips from various broadcasts, the several replay angles of different plays, and the emotional attention-grabbing antics of the players/coaches that does everything to make you feel the sum of the game in just a few short minutes.
The media tried to take away how special this was by saying things along the line that Javier should’ve pitched the whole game. Don’t let them. This was special and it happened, they can never change it. The Astros are the 2022 World Series champions whether you like it or not. 🤘🏽😘

It was like there were two different crowds there tonight. The excited crowd before the 5th inning, and the one where you could hear a pin drop after the 5 run 5th.
Been an Astros fan since I walked into the astrodome as a kid in 1970. I've seen it all. Scott's no no to win the pennant, Nolly's no hitter. Killer bees you name it I have either watched it or listened to milo Hamilton describe it on radio. This was as good as it gets. Go Astros!!!
Oh man last nights game was probably the best pitching I have ever seen in my life. I have watched thousands of baseball games, live, and on tv, and listened on radio. A no hitter in the series never has happened in my lifetime, was an absolutely historic night.
I was there at this game. Man was this crowd in it until like the fifth, then people started peeling out. By the end all ~30 of us Astros fans who made it out congregated at the visitor dugout to celebrate. Magical experience

I know it's ultimately an expected play to make for a pro, and I have no love lost for the guy who did it, but if you've ever played the hot corner at any kind of level you know just how crazy those searing choppers can be. One little flinch, one little hesitation before charging at that thing and it goes from that shorthop to an inbetweener that handcuffs him and goes into left field for a base hit. Great stuff. What a series.

Cardinals fan here. But also just a lover of baseball, this is incredible. Not only this game, but what a series. Just love watching great baseball, even if I have no skin in the game. Leaning towards the Phillies due to their story from this season, but damn they're gonna have to earn it from this Astros club! Fun stuff. The drama, the fans, the stakes, can't make this up!

Brad Lidge was on the mound, and back then that usually meant the game was over already. Then up to the plate steps one Albert Pujols. Ugh. Just talking about it brings back the PTSD from that moon shot. 🫣

Pulling Javier is one of those moves that would've looked really dumb if the bullpen hadn't held up, but looks genius now. He'll be rested and ready for a second go round, and he'll be super confident going into it
I thought he should have went out for 1 more inning but no way he was going more than 7. We're probably going to need him to start game 7 or at least be available for a few strong innings. McCullers is not starting again that's for sure.

This World Series is like the NBA Finals this year. Warriors lost game 1 at home and lost game 3 then Curry went god mode in game 4 with a historic 43 points and shut that rude Boston crowd up and they proceeded to win the next 2 games. Game 4 tonight was a historic win tonight for Houston , Not a fan of either team but it’s a good series so far and we’ll see how pans out.

Verlander vs, Harper. That has to be one of the great match ups of all time.Amazing that Verlander like Kershaw two of the 6 to 10 best pitchers ever ,have had so much trouble post season. I look for him to be sharper tonight,but look for Schwarber or Harper to turn it around about 440 feet in the middle innings.

This World Series is like the NBA Finals this year. Warriors lost game 1 at home and lost game 3 then Curry went god mode in game 4 with a historic 43 points and shut that rude Boston crowd up and they proceeded to win the next 2 games. Game 4 tonight was a historic win tonight for Houston , Not a fan of either team but it’s a good series so far and we’ll see how pans out.
