The signing of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact and the German-Soviet border and friendship treaty in Moscow also became the basis for mutual cooperation between the secret services of both countries. The secret annexes of the latter provided for cooperation between the Gestapo and the NKVD in combating Polish pro-independence organizations, stating: “Both sides will not tolerate in their territories any Polish propaganda that concerns the territories of the other side. They shall suppress within their territories any incipients of such propaganda and shall keep each other informed as to appropriate measures to that end.' This became the basis for mutual cooperation between the police and the security forces of both occupants, taking the form of four thematic Gestapo-NKVD Conferences, which took place in 1939-1941 in Brześć, Przemyśl, Zakopane and Kraków.

The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was a non-aggression pact between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union that enabled those powers to partition Eastern Europe between them. The pact was signed in Moscow on 23 August 1939 by German Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop and Soviet Foreign Minister Vyacheslav Molotov and was officially known as the Treaty of Non-Aggression between Germany and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Unofficially, it has also been referred to as the Hitler-Stalin Pact, Nazi-Soviet Pact or Nazi-Soviet Alliance . The main provisions of the pact
The Baltic states: (Estonia, Latvia) and Finland will become the sphere of influence and future territory of the USSR, and the northern border of Lithuania (with Latvia) will be the border between the spheres of interest of Germany and the USSR (see: occupation of the Baltic countries).
In areas belonging to the Polish state, the zones of interest of Germany and the USSR will be demarcated along the line of the Narew, Vistula and San rivers.
The Soviet side emphasizes its interest in Bessarabia, while the German side states a complete lack of interest in this territory.

If you've made the comment on the alliance between the Soviet Union and the nazis at the beginning of the war then kudos to you! It is a fact that is well omitted in the West, largely because of the politics of the time. And yes, people do get aggressive when one mentions it. All the more reason to look into it and learn the truth! :)

Nazi Germany and the USSR were not so much allies, as they signed a non-aggression pack and then equally conquered Poland. However you are basically correct, if not technically correct.

It was not only non-agression pact. They worked together before and after invasion of Poland. When Germany attacks Russia (before Russia attacks Germany) on first days it was irony that German tanks was often moving on Russian oil and Russian tanks was builded by German steel
