They really captured Kirstie's eyes accurately in the sculpt. You have to have it in hand to have it hit you.😮 It was hard to not keep the normal uniform on; it looked so good. However the Regula one jacket kills.❤
I'm with you, it's an amazing figure! That jacket...I feel like we're not going to get many versions of that, so I might need to display here in that jacket!
The likely reason that Nanjin made Saavik first, is that before Exo-6 and QMx, he made custom Wrath of Khan figures which I own - Kirk, Spock, and McCoy which are quite well done! He is planning to release improved WOK Kirk, Spock, and McCoy, but I’m happy with his originals!
Saavik may have had a smaller role, but if you were around when it came out then she would be an absolute must-have figure. The bulky tricorder isn't big because it's older. The TOS tricorder was smaller than this one. It's bulky because it's a "heavy duty tricorder" probably used to be able to scan the entire station. As for their method to their madness: not really madness at all. If they put the most popular figures out first, then there would quickly be diminishing returns for the company which could possibly make them shut down early thus preventing us from being to get all of the figures we're hoping for. Plus, there's a time limit for the current iteration of this company. So if a lesser character is ready to go, then it needs to get put on the schedule asap. Finally, you were lucky to get that Starfleet emblem. It's not standard and not every figure will come with one. It's a random bonus for those who get one.
Hey! Thank you for all the insight. I had no idea about the heavy duty tricorder, so that's great to know. And I'm with you, I can see the path their on and I'm on this, like with the Sulu that just went up. If they release all the major characters, people may say, we're done. This is a great way to get secondary or even tertiary characters. Also good to know about the pin! I know they've done that in the past, but I hadn't realized that this was a bonus. Again appreciate all the insights and thanks for watching!
Paints not amazing on screen but its close enough. Its Exo-6. But the outfits magnifico 🤌. Especially the jacket! Very nice. And its young Kirstie.....she was fun, R.I.P.
Yeah not their best sculpt, but still years beyond what they did with those Voyager figures...those were...interesting. The uniform though! Insane, how much detail is on this.
The eyes are where a lot of these companies are missing the mark. Hot Toys, Damtoys, Blitzway and Inart really have those down where it brings some life to their figures.
Awesome figure mate! Love the uniform and that jacket looks amazingly detailed, superb tailoring! 👌🏻
Thanks TK! They knocked this one out of the park, and the movie uniform is incredible. Had to order their Captain Sulu!

They need a version with her hair down and the robe
The way Exo-6 is going, who knows. They might surprise us with their limited edition offshoot soon.

Eyes are lifeless, nevertheless thanks:)

Does not look like Kirstie.
