My older sister always made me play this with her too, I always lost tho..
Same my sister had it. But ours must of been the first run because our mall's walls were beige and more realistic looking than cartoony... I remember thinking it just looked cool.

Are they playing it right? Does "Sorry, try again later" mean the store's out of stock, or that their card was declined? And if the latter, what's the point of withdrawing cash from the ATM if you have to make all purchases with your card?

I think I understand what the Cash Card is, when you want to buy something with cash the government must check your social credit score to see if you are allowed to buy that item at that time. So the Cash Card is just notifying the government you want wanting to buy said item and then you give the cash if you have been deemed loyal enough to buy that item at that time.
