48:35 the card shown on screen is Black Spot, but the card played was Pistol 😅
I was so confused thinking that they just mistook the Black Spot for a Pistol due to Laurel's confidence in the mixup
Also, Atlantis was used while not on a ship. A couple of rule-related whoopsies but it was a fun game & episode anyway
Its possible if Laurie had played it correctly for it to have ended differently as he would have lost a vote card potentially winning the tortuga vote for britain and Jon would be on the ship capable of swapping treasures. But yeah hey ho rule mistakes happen and it is a fun game :)
@@JackulaHD Well Laurie did reveal a Pistol. You can see it with Tilly's turn after that on the discard pile. So everything checks out nicely for that one. What consequences the wrong use of Atlantis from Sully had is a bit farther away tho.
Oh thank goodness, I had anxiety for the rest of the game trying to figure out why Jon had been sent back to the island. But now I do see Pistol is on top of the discard pile directly after.
Laurie defeating the Spanish on his own is such a Laurie thing to do... Pettiness on max!
Hearing an actual British man doing a fake British accent at the very end was an incredibly surreal experience.
Well there are at least half a dozen distinct accents in Britain so nothing weird about it

I love how it's French references and stereotypes and (bad) French accents for days, but for the Dutch it's just "Clogs clogs!" and "Least we're not...really tall" and "Dutch be Dutchin'."
i rewatched 28:57 so many times. Jon convincing Sully to pick up that card, Adam cracking up even before Sully looks at it, the group's reaction - it's perfection.
Love this channel, the talent and the hard work they put in.
But constructive criticism? The new intro feels cheap and ugly compared to the amazing old one. Same as when they briefly changed the safe to the animated bank vault.
It just looks bad and they dont have the resources right now to make it look great.
Film something awesome as in the Draghts intro rather than building a whole new asset.

Funny that the Dutch is the neutral player. We have a saying in Dutch: "waar twee honden vechten om een been, gaat de derde er mee heen". Which kind of means: where 2 dogs are fighting for a bone, the third dog will walk away with it. Which is kind of what's happening in this game😂

I've got to say, a lot of channels with strong personalities can be intimidating, but not only dose this whole channel feel welcoming and inclusive, but there are several episodes with smaller casts, and with larger, I feel like even after only a week of occasional viewing, I know how these people will play and act, and I understand the dynamic. It becomes like watching friends play out a game, instead of anything robotic.
I loved the Will Wheaton tabletop series, but the rotating cast often threw me for a loop if I didn't consume the content of the guests on the show, especially actors who's media I had seen was them literally being someone else. (still an amazing show)
But No Rolls Barred(tm) I'm always exited to click on and see what they will play/do! Amazing content, have my algorithm comment!

The two albatross is brilliant, drawing on the Rime of the Ancient Mariner. The albatross when first seen was a Godsend, bringing the winds that sped them away, but later one sailor panicked and shot it and the winds calmed, stalling them at sea, and he was forced to wear the albatross. Thus, having TWO maroon them all. Freaking genius.
Loved the Terri bit at the end overall a really good video

A friend of mine got it as a present and we've played a lot of it. Bloody good time! Although somehow it always gets pretty clear who's who pretty quickly, unless the ducth person is pretty good. Either way awesome game and the gang made it look even better. Terri closing us off was the cherry on top. Huzzah!

I’m sure they used the black spot wrong near the end there. It says the revealer is marooned, not that they get to choose. So Laurie should have been sent to the back of tortuga and lost a card.

I love watching you guys play, the chemistry between you all is fantastic, I have a suggestion for a game for you to try, have you ever played Alien- Fate of the Nostromo by Ravensburger, I think you'll like it as its a fantastic little board game to play and very simple to understand the rules, keep those videos coming.🤩

As soon as Adam told Sullivan to pick one of the two cards and he already knew about one of them, I was 99% sure it would be an Albatross. Especially since he set it up by giving away that other card as well. His words before doing it also made it fairly obvious.
