    Better Idea leave mobile tractors behind in each room and boom mark. then bring the noctis with 8 salvagers and salvage everything already pulled in and loot the can without having to open 100 wrecks, but I also fly a marauder maybe I clear sites too fast

    MTUs only get popped IF you forget to pick them up. Otherwise, they are very useful.

    If you drop an MTU, it will open the jet cans for you. This lets you focus on tractor/salvage. I don't even fit a salvager on my Marauders, I use salvage drones. Maybe you could follow up with a deeper skill guide for salvaging once skills are more fleshed out in characters!

    Or just a mobile tractor unit and salvage drones

    T1 exploration ships get a nice bonus to salvaging, and I find that with a mobile tractor beam it works really well.

      I never actually noticed that bonus! I still think that the 8 high slots of the destroyers can do it faster between 4 tractors and 4 salvagers, but I'm willing to race ;)

      @@ariesgaming2988 would this be better for someone new to eve? I don’t have that much isk and I’m looking to try salvaging.

    • @ariesgaming2988
      @ariesgaming2988  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Faputa-Sosu yeah, I think the skills required are fairly low and salvaging can be a pretty fun way to get ISK at first.

      @@ariesgaming2988 should I still get one of those big ships first or is there a cheaper set up I can use to get started?

    • @ariesgaming2988

      @@Faputa-Sosu use the catalyst first, it's super cheap. Link to fit is in description, you can import it from there. Noctis is pretty expensive. You're going to have to find wrecks to salvage, though, or make some yourself ;)

    You could also hire a salvager to follow you around and both make more money.

      True. Alt salvager as well, I suppose. There are so many ways to do things in this game :)

    Never had an MTU get destroyed in hisec with years of running level 4’s. Seems like an irrational fear.

      You're probably right. Fly on, oh fearless one! O7

    So do you wait to turn in the mission until you are done salvaging?

    • @ariesgaming2988
      @ariesgaming2988  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As long as you bookmark the wrecks you can turn the mission in before you salvage without any problem. Wrecks only last for 2 hours, though, so be quick! :)

      @@ariesgaming2988 Thanks so much! i feel like ive been grinding combat missions with the same NPC for weeks now. does it take a long time to unlock lvl 2 and 3 missions?

    • @ariesgaming2988
      @ariesgaming2988  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JLproductions18 it sometimes feels long. If you want to grind standing faster, distribution missions are they way to go. However they pay basically nothing, so that's the tradeoff.
