actually MTV used to air it during the night shift because it takes more than 8 minutes to see it all. Videoclips normally broadcast last 3-4 minutes and between two commercial pauses you can place more songs. 8 minutes is not a good format for commercial purposes :D

You will notice that the band Sade @SadeOfficial didnt want me connected to Smooth Operator and replaced me in the video of the song and also didnt invite me to play the drums at the BBC TOTP's show. They did this by getting Dave Early (session drums) to overdub my original drums

Then on Casey Kasem's America's Top Ten TV Show he talked about how she was the biggest Jazz Sensation to take the Music World by Storm since Billie Holliday. What made her so amazing is that she took folks who wouldn't have enjoyed Jazz and she made them love it.
