One of my favorite female singers of all time. Her style, looks, voice, elegance, and also her band is just impeccable. Glad to know she's okay. Love you Shar-Day!
She hasn’t retreated. She took a break but is back and has been touring with her band and working on a new album. She has earned the right to work at her own pace. She was just elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
That's what I love about her, when she does drop something it never disappoints... quality over quantity is better to me. It's a difference between a commercial entertainer and an artist, in my opinion... she's a real artist.
What I found disturbing about this video, was the way ‘Sade’ was pronounced. Also the amount of times I heard the word ‘asterisk’. Only put up with it, due to the fact, Sade is a legitimate legend who i love.❤

My guess is, she feels like she's said all she wants to musically, and decided to do other things with her life. Plus, I always got the vibe that she was never interested in being a celebrity, and didn't like the lack of privacy that fame brings, anyway. I need to get the rest of her CDs---I already have some of them.

You are so correct! I saw Sade in concert and it was unbelievable how men were just liquefied by her presence and what a presence she is! She came out barefoot in an elegant dress and every woman with a beau was non-existent during the show. Everyone male and female were revolving around Sade's magnetic orbit. Yes, it should be studied for I have never seen one woman mesmerized an audience with sweet sensual vibrations like Sade. She is understated and elegant. A true lady. She is simply divine and unforgettable.
She is an amazing singer. I love her smooth way of singing. She's not only beautiful, but talented. Smooth operator was one of my favorite songs of hers. I had it on a cassette. Yep! When they existed. Never goes out of date.
I love Sade ❤. My cousin turned me on to Sade when I was 14, I was hooked on her music ever since. The best singer hands done. I'm happy to hear she is making new music. ❤

One of the greatest bands of all time, and one of my favorites. In her public persona, she redefined class for the 20th and 21rst centuries. Their music is pure class. She is pure class. Soulful, elegant, heartfelt, and empathic - class all the way.
I saw Sade at Radio City Music Hall in 1988 in one of the most unforgettable concerts I've ever experienced. When she performed "Is it a Crime" she reached into my heart and brought out the tears.
@abbyrivera8367 It's on the early issues of the album. Wish she would do another special that shows on P.B.S. I think she was on Great Performances. I hope you get a chance to check it out.

I remember when I was in my early 20s I was at a club near a university & a young lady dancing on the dance floor by herself & she kept staring at me & then she pointed at me to join her on the dance floor. My friends said go man! She looked just like sade!!! We danced & talked & she fave me her number & when got home I couldn't find the number😢 I think of that night everytime I see sade or a story on her😂
As I've have gotten older - Sade is the only music I play while driving and listen to it the most at home. So many fond memories of her concert experience that cannot be forgotten and I've been going to concerts since a teenager and I retired ten years ago.
