I love this bc I actually used the chad cabin in my solo wipe and I had so much room I added a second floor but it was still a perfect base I recommend for new players
I've used the Chad Shed, really nice for a small casual duo trio
And AITs Labyrinth, which I managed to get raided the second I completed it for a T3 and my wipe lol

I was sad when I used the Aperta, not because the base was lacking. But because I got offlined. It was such a good base and I couldn't wait for a online, but I just couldn't stay up till 5am on a school night, and got offlined by a clan I tried onlining earlier in the day. Clans always win

Tokyo made a goober base that’s actually good lmao, I love that guy
For the chad cabin you can replace the furnaces with electric furnaces and place a battery in the triangle on the opposite side of the starter airlock triangle next to the furnaces instead of the locker that is put there
The death blossom by Templetaps and the Tokyo trio by Ceeg are also very good.

Chad cabin is decent when you’re able to get it fully packed out fast but if you get caught with the starter you’re flattened quick it’s a easy raid unless you have it fully decked out and upgraded

The nomad is a good solo base, used it the last three wipes. Not big enough to attract chads but big enough to see off raid attempts

I made alone in Tokyos base but recreated it with good wide gaps. I call it the KJ V2.
The base i usually make has a pancake roof 15 shotgun traps with room for 2 or 3 interior turrets and only 2-3 sheet metal doors depending on my airlock preference for that wipe and 9 big boxes for loot and the TC is on the 2nd floor behind 3 garage doors. Mainly for solos or duos and when pancaked and core upgraded to armored its a huge pain to raid through any part of the base.

Question about base layout. Is it better for door path to be extended as much as possible by leading through loot storage rooms and simply store the higher priority loot deeper into the base or is it better to have loot rooms branching off of door path adding to the possibility of a raider having to double back
One base i like if i can manage to afford it is a shuriken foot print (one square in the middle, four squares in the corners connected by triangles) with elevated and lowered foundations for that extra vertical storage. But what im not sure about is to have door path go around the perimeter and then into where tc is or to have door path lead to the center of the foot print and have doors branch off towards each loot room/tc storage
I think shots 2022 design is the best for solos because of the simplicity and compactness but the cost to raid it is insane.

I am a firm believer that you can have good base defense while still making your own unique shit, the more Odd ball your base looks the more people can’t predict we’re to tunnel in the base, it’s north worth using others builds Atlest in a quad sever

A big thick box very good for offline raid and have 50+ allies that live right next to you for online raid protection
Offline raid protection means baiting raiders to take a path that leaves them trapped inside + dead with you/friends alerted to them. Electricity is good for this but there's a few other ideas that work
