10 years ago I had made my own version of 'A Christmas Carol'. Looking back my 2012 feels like it's in need of a good tune up. I've been wanting to remake this since 2014 but hadn't the drive to do until now.
Plot:
Diesel hated Christmas but no one knew why. But one night, he was visited by three ghosts of the past, present and future.

I can't believe its been 10 years since the original came out
The remaster of your classic video is absolutely magnificent mate.
Wow this was more darker than the original. It's like an Alternate Take on Diesels Ghostly Christmas. I like this still Merry Christmas.
I remember seeing Diesel’s Christmas carol a long time ago and I was not expecting to see a remake for it and I very glad it did happen. I loved the retelling a lot! Merry Christmas NWR1991
I have to say, this remaster is a masterpiece. Diesel, Paxton and Philip really suit the parts of Scrooge, Bob Cratchet and Tiny Tim very well. The other scenes were a lot more darker in tone in a more brilliant way.
Looking forward to the last few new videos of 2022!
By the way, I forgot to ask this before in Part 9 and I don't think this was asked before, but if you were to pick a favorite episode of your series, what would it be that you're most proud of?
What an incredible Christmas video. It was an adventure for Diesel to have. It felt like a good adaptation of 'A Christmas Carol'. Poor Philip, I felt sorry for him. What a lot of cameos from engines. I loved how you did the intro and outro clips :D .

Should be interesting. One adaptation of A Christmas Carol I rather like is a UK version George C Scott was part of from 1984.
Impressive work! I haven't seen the original, and I still enjoy the actual episode "Diesel's Ghostly Christmas", but this is awesome! Love that it caught the spirit of A Christmas Carol, particularly with the future!

My younger self loved watching the 2012 version of Diesel's Christmas Carol and I am happy that you decided to make an updated version. I must say I love the use of the models for this, such as Flying Scotsman's, and the shots of the Spirits taking Diesel up into the sky were strange and popping to look at. I love this Anniversary Remake! Merry Christmas!

I haven’t seen the original, but boy is this good! I’ll definitely watch it again at Christmas! I still like Diesel’s Ghostly Christmas from Season 19, but this is far better, and definitely more true to A Christmas Carol! I also find it funny that you made this before the show did their own version of A Christmas Carol. Part of me has to wonder if the show writers got the idea from you…
The only things that the shows adaption (Diesel’s Ghostly Christmas) really does better is humour, and the lesson of Christmas. the scenes with the tree at the docks, Salty’s Ghost, the Ghost of Christmas Past, and Thomas rescuing Diesel the next day never fail to make me laugh, and with Diesel crashing and physically being scared rather than having a bad dream did make it feel like he had a bigger reason to learn a lesson. At the same time though, A Christmas Carol isn’t meant to be funny, and the whole point in the story is that it (probably) was a dream, so this adaptation feels way more faithful and traditional than Diesel’s Ghostly Christmas!
