My name is Verity! I always get people saying how unique it is and that they like it. I prefer to go by my nickname V, because Verity feels a bit formal/posh doesn't suit my personality. But I do think it's a nice name I love that it's unique X

Fiadh is a more common spelling over Faidh I think. (I'm Irish and called Aoife, with a Méabh - Irish spelling of Maeve- so I fully appreciate the tricky Irish spellings haha). I moved to England 8 years ago and love that Irish names are on the rise now around the world.
My husband and I loved the name Cora but where we live it's (been pinched by) a store similar to carrefour:)) Verity and Cleo also sound beautiful! Love your videos and your heart, SJ!💗

I love Flora and Honey but together they do remind me of food! Fiadh is also so beautiful, I know a cat with this name and she definitely is a wild animal! Ember has been on my list for a while, it’s like a winter-warmer name, with a mysterious, magical feel to it.

One of my friends moms name is Honey and I’ve always loved it. She’s literal sunshine in a person. I just had a baby girl three weeks ago and I wanted to name her Cora, but my partner didn’t love it. We almost went with Clara but decided on Claire Elise. We already have an Ines Sofia. I also love Alina that one was a top contender! If we have a third girl I’d love Alina or Melina.

Aubrey has been a favorite of mine for years. Main character in my book is Aubrey 🤣
I had a great aunt Honey, our family always loved that name. She was quite a character so sweet. Also reading the book woman's daughter, who's name is Honey and she is born in the 40s. So I think it is much more a vintage name trend. I love this list overall. Verity I think is becoming popular because there is a trendy book with the title and main character named Verity.
Has anyone ever thought of why we really don't have Spring as a name? I'm sure someone does somewhere, but its not really a name I've heard. Which is interesting cause the other season names are all fairly common, ie. Summer, Winter, Autumn - although I guess Fall could be considered a season name that people aren't usually called haha

My name is Alivia Rae. My mom always wanted to name her future daughter Olivia but my dad wanted something different because Olivia was quite popular in the 2000’s. My dad’s name is Ray and he wanted his name incorporated in my name somewhere so my mom chose the feminine version, Rae for my middle name.
I had only met one other Autumn when I was growing up but I've met many younger girls with that name now.

It never fails.. when I introduce myself to people they will always ask me to repeat my name bc they aren’t sure if they heard the name Shyanne or my actual name which is “Shine.” I don’t know if it’s a rare name but most people I encounter act like it is. 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve always loved the first name you mentioned.. Aubrey. The name also reminds me of the 70’s song of the same name written by David Gates and made popular by the band Bread. My first is Luna Rhea after my great grandmother and my grandfather Elizabeth (twiz) Rhea, nana passed a couple years ago and watching another of your videos you mentioned “El” name’s coming from “Helen” and her name was Wilma Helen so we named my second daughter Eleanore Kaye, Kaye coming from her other grandmother who also passed the same year. Some names we love are (girl) Georgie, Sloane, Piper, Kit, and (boy) Brooks, Kellan, and Leith. Hi! Not sure if you will ever see this, but I am looking for a middle name for a little girl. I wanted it to be something like the name of my great aunt who was called Doris. As you can see this is a really old name and the only thing we can think of is Dory which just makes my partner think of the forgetful little fish from Finding Nemo 😅

I think Doris is ready for revival, but if you're not a fan of it you could use a named with -dor in it, like Theodora, Cleodora, Isadora, Eldora, Pandora, etc. Or you could use a name with an ocean meaning, like Cordelia, Ginevra, Marin, Nerissa, etc.
My grandmother was Doris and people called her Doll/Dolly

I don't think there's a name on this list that I don't love. Flora is my top name, and I do consider naming my daughter Flora in the future. Lina is also such a beautiful name to consider.

My first name, not a nickname, is Dodie. Pronounced doe dee. Almost never is it pronounced or written correctly.
Our youngest Golden Retrievers name is Autumn Willow, she was born in September.
We have a friend whose name is Phoenix. She had a baby girl that she named Ember. I think the correlation between the two names is really cool. Would work well for twins also.

@SJ Strum Thank you. When I was young I did not care for my name. Because it drew attention attention, which I didn't like. People always thought it was a nickname for Dorothy. In my case, no it is not. Believe me, I am no Dorothy. When I got older and came across people who used Dodie as a nickname. I didn't like it. I was used to no one having "my name." Lol
@@dodiekoehler During my school years I was teased for having a "boys name". My cousins would would call me Cody Dody, pronounced the same as yours. I named my daughter Kendal, which I consider a uni-sex name. I would much rather have a unique name that causes a person to pause and think about it rather than a common one like Sara or Jessica.
@Cody Dody I really love the unisex names. I've known several Cody's and Jody's, both of whom were unisex names, even when I was a kid. Like I said, as a kid, I did not want to be noticed as anything 'different'. I wanted a name like Cindy or Debbie. A name everyone knew and knew how to spell and pronounce. When I became a teenager, I realized that normal and ordinary were on a huge sliding scale. Then I liked having a unique name. With our children, we chose names that we liked best. We named our daughter Jennifer a very common name. We named our son Danzer a very uncommon name. If he had been a girl. His name would have been Kazmaray, another very uncommon name.
I love the name Aubrey. There was one in my family in the late 1800s but like it for girls too. Brie Larson has made Brie a cool nickname too. Marley I really like. I know you liked Marlowe a while ago and Marley could be a nickname for that. You mentioned harvest as linked to autumn at the end and I think it would make a cool boys name with nickname Harvey. I love Dorothy too. Made more modern in my mind by the bucket list family. I like the nickname dory too. Dotty unfortunately just makes me think of calling someone dotty, as in a bit mad but most of these names I love. Best wishes to Naomi and happy birthday to Lottie. I need some serious baby name help y’all. I’m pregnant with our second boy, and no names feel right to me. Our first boys name is Griffyn. I want a name that flows nicely and doesn’t follow a theme.
