Its sort of funny because its hard to imagine a guitar line like that making it into an actual Disney movie... i mean, can you think of any other Disney film that has an electric guitar line like that? It's interesting how Broadway musicals can get away with stepping it up from a musical or writing standpoint, while an actual Disney movie would never even go there. Same goes for the actual dialog too. I got lucky enough to see the Lion King on Broadway, and there was one joke that made me laugh hysterically because how they got away with sneaking a swear word into the lines, but having actor pronounce it in a way where kids would miss it, but adults watching would eat up!

I saw Lion King for the third time this weekend. I'm very disappointed with how it's changed since 2001. They took out Morning Report and changed Chow Down. I miss the old version of this musical!

I find it very hard to believe that The Morning Report got cut but they kept this song...the style change is jut so...abrupt. It goes from the orchestral and African style and suddenly goes into Rock. Not that the song is bad.....it's just odd
