  • Component Libraries are a valuable tool in a designers toolset. Component libraries can greatly speed up your workflow in Webflow and when designing in Figma. You can quickly wireframe, layout content, spin up landing pages and much more. Two powerful ones that are based off of Finsweet's client first system are Relume and Grid Up. See which one is one is better!

I've been using Relume almost every day for about a year now. Very happy with it and it has saved me countless hours. Good product. I don't see much need to have multiple component libraries, but I'm always interested in what's out there.

I agree, one good one should be all you need!

@@gammadesignco4102 Especially if they are build on a different framework. Fortunately, Client-First seems to have been adopted widely by the development and component library community. Took me a while to latch onto it, but now that I'm using it regularly, I like it (for the most part)

My question about all of these component libraries is...if I cancel my monthly subscription plan during a period when I have no site development projects happening, will the components that I used be de-activated? I don't use Webflow hosting - I always export code and use it on my own host.

No sir they will not! I stopped my grid up subscription for now and I still have the components where I used them!

I would agree. The membership gives you the cut and paste functionality (and the very handy chrome plugins)... But once the components are in your site, they are free and clear.
