First time watching you guys and I have to say this was a really good quality review of the bow. Honestly I'm a bit tired of everyone ONLY reviewing the flagships and intermediate bows. I feel this could be a series for you guys moving forward
I'm 62 years old and I haven't shot a bow in probably 40 years but I got a hold of an old PSE ThunderFlite Express compound bow and I had a new string put on it and I've been thinking about getting a newer bow and I've been looking at this one any advice for me and I'm not as strong as I used to be. Lol
I wouldn’t be against recommending one of these bows, depending on your budget. If you have some experience, I would recommend looking at the x8 or x9, which would be a little better quality than this bow we reviewed. Good luck!
@@OutcastHunting well I wished I knew about these bows before I took this old bow to the archery shop and spent 100 bucks for them to put a new string on it and I know money is tight right now but I couldn't believe it cost that much money to buy a string and for them to install it and put a loop on it. SMH well thanks for your help and I appreciate you taking the time and I think I can't go wrong with buying one of these bows just for passing the time shooting bulls eyes 👀. Lol
Im 42 and for a while, i picked archery back up for about 5 years with an old Pse FireFlite. Set at 55 lbs and got to where I could reliably hit 2 moa at 60 yards with it. Been thinking of something like this as well that i can graduate out of and use this as a bowfishing rig once Ive out classed it in terms of accuarcy.
@@hashtaglobotomy2655 when we were kids we didn't have anything like this or that Lol but I got ahold of this old PSE ThunderFlite and I didn't realize how old it was until I left the archery shop and I seen a few people looking at me funny but compared to what we used to have I have no complaints about this old bow and the more I shoot it the more it grows on me. Lol I might have to try one of those Dragon x7 or x8 out cheap enough
Please get some lessons, you are going to injure yourselves drawing a bow like that maybe not immediately but over time definitely. I'm an archer in the UK and anyone shooting like that at a club here would be pulled aside and taught how to draw a bow properly.
