Awesome video. A whole bunch of people do bow build videos but don’t go into the depths that you just went into. The whole moving of the d loop to find the best aiming point is my favorite tip and something I will start doing after season.
Glad it was helpful!
You don’t see long, in depth, instructional videos like this. These little tips that don’t get told to the average archer can save someone’s entire season. This is awesome!
josh do a video on arrow tuneing, whats your best way, paper tuning, bareshaft tuning what do you prefer for tuning arrows to the bow.. would like to see a in depth video on that, thanks
That 23 is a great d-loop, it's all I use.
Bro, that thumb nail is gold 😆
bowmar how do you stay buff af? Enough bow videos just tell us yur workout regiment already.😭🙏
Trenbalogna sandwiches and hardwork.
Haha I’ve never taken Tren in my life 😂 but I am on TRT. But I’ve been lifting since I was 9 and never looked back. I diet year around and train 5-6 days a week.
@BowmarBowhunting lol no hate, the hardwork speaks for itsself.
@@C-23_thanks man 🫡
I was wondering about the TRT myself, I’m 43 and think I need to start treating myself to it. Just didn’t like the idea of having to stay on it. But I like the idea of a 90# bow haha
Video was so long that Josh was clean shaved in the beginning, damn near had a beard at the end😂😂 solid intel Josh! Great vid bro!
We need more videos like this
Absolutely you should do a video on target panic. Thanks for sharing with such passion.
This is the content im here for.
I hope you enjoy it!
Fisherman's warehouse is where I go to get all my archery needs!! Love it
Bro not a single person doing these bow setup vids are remotely close to as in depth and detailed as what urs are. I get excited when i see u post setup and tuning vids. Id be damn willing to drive to Iowa from Oklahoma to ur shop or house or wherever u have ur bow settin up place at just to have u help me do the same thing to mine. Just got my first hybrid cam bow a couple wks ago and boy let me tell u for a wanna be bow tech/ i got a LOOOOONG ways to go. Thank u for showin ur tricks and secrets of setup.
Thank you for taking the time to always help the average archer to be the best he/she can be with their archery setups... Your videos really do help and it's the little things that make the huge gains! Keep doing what you do!
Out of all the videos I’ve watched on stuff like this….this one is exactly what I needed. This video will be my text book from now on. Thanks for the awesome video!!
Do the target panic video. This video is extremely helpful as I just bought a new bow that I plan to set up/ tune and whatnot myself and I am still fairly new to setting up bows, only have done 3-4
Absolute hammer of a video Josh thank you for the best bow build video out here.
I set my bow up at 7 yards, fixed blade broadhead arrow a bare shaft and a fletched arrow.
Last bow I set up that way with a string, I was shooting bare shafts at 70 yards.
Take out all the wind ect.
I used a piece of string with a bolt at the end of it , then I square and plum for the horizontal line.
I always tune off the limb bolts off every bow I set up if it's possible.
Great video!
This is best long form bow setup video.
People have their opinions but I feel like the Bowmar’s are great people. The content is amazing and extremely informative. This is in a whole different class than most archery content creators. And we’re not getting charged for it.
This is gonna take me weeks to watch, but I love it already. Thank you Josh! Tremendous
Would love Bowmar’s take on target panic.
Please do the target panic video. This video just changed completely how I’ll set up my bows from now on. Plus I have target panic
longest video I have ever watched on one topic, but SOOOOO helpful! Thank you!!!!
You should do a video on your job, maybe even take us to work with you one day, you could even go live.
great video josh, you should make some more diy bow builds and arrow tune. again very good and helpful. keep showing more
I love the "If you're too weak, hit the Gym" comment about let-off 😂😂😂
Keep the info vids coming: form, target panic, aiming
Probably the best video on tuning I've ever seen.
Great video definitely need to try out the moving of d loop to help aim steady always just set up 90 degrees or atleast close
Defiantly would love more videos like this!
Interesting that dloop bit! Man that’s a comprehensive video. Some
Good points for sure!
Glad you liked it!
What a Great Video! It's long but everyone needs to power through it, because Josh packed it with very good info.
Only 15 min in, but this is the best bow build video ever - thanks!!!!!!!!!!
The grey and black is a sweet looking colorway on the bow! Excited to see it in action this year!
the best most informative build/ tip vid I've watched thankyou for passing on these awesome tips. 🤘🤘
Priceless information. I enjoyed every bit of this video!! 👍💪 🏹
Very nice overall video, I wish all bow shops did these steps. I also bare shaft tune my rest to 20 yards and often have to move cam spacers like you mentioned. Great stuff keep it up!
Man I love this video! A ton of information that not many people take time to walk through. I’d love to have a day to pick your brain and just hang out. Thanks for the great advice man
More videos like this greatly appreciated
Have you ever thought about doing a bow tune for a viewer? MFJJ gets several views on his videos like that. The nose button changed my world when it comes to consistency! Great video!!
Dloop was installed the opposite way... that's going to add more torque when shooting right handed with thumb button release twisting the release aid anticlockwise.
Good job with all the rest! And thanks for sharing with everyone :)
Great video, very informative! Great attitude, will definitely be hitting the subscribe button. Brand new to archery (literally). I’ve only taken 2 shots in my life. My very first bow (PSE Mach 30 ds) is being delivered this morning. Can’t wait to dive into more of your videos to learn all I can about bows/hunting/archery. 🎯
Thank you. Very informative. Saved.
Bro that fork is the GOAT I will for sure have one in my shop from now on
I learned that trick from Greg Poole! Another Bow Tuning legend 👍🏼
@@BowmarBowhunting it’s a very cool trick
Absolutely would love a video on target panic. Yessir this vid good stuff
Amazing video Josh! This is inspiring me to learn how to set up my own equipment. I’m realizing how many things my local archery shops don’t do.
Absolutely loved this video, but please make a target panic video!
That bow is incredibly smooth. I shot the 70# alpha x 30 &. It literally felt like 60.
I’m so excited for this!
I found the same thing with the Hamskea epsilon launcher blades. I switched the epsilon standard launcher with a Hybrid launcher blade which is flatter. No more contact.
What a great video of setting up a bow. Definitely a lot of stuff I did not know about tuning. Man I want you to set my bow up.
Been looking forward to this
Great video mate, loved it.
Extremely helpful as I've only had youtube & other online info to learn from since starting in archery a year & a half back.
I'm in a small out of the way country town in Australia, no archery shops or clubs anywhere near me so videos like this are very helpful.
I recently got a new bow (Bear Persist) so will definitely watch again & go though each step to get the set up just right.
Please make some more about anything you can think of that will help new archers.
Thanks.
Great video, learnt some great tips!
Plz make a video on target panic and how you shoot you back tension by slowly letting off the safety
Josh hoyt makes the sl side bar mount for hoyt bows. Its there back bar mount that goes in hole
Epic video thanks Josh!! I’m gonna watch this a few more times just to let everything sink in, make more content like this and go in depth
Finally! Love the equipment videos. Much appreciated for sharing the tips
Not boring at all ! Excellent tips , excellent instruction.Scorpion Venom on the front of the arrow helps for pulling arrows out of targets .
Awesome video, perfect timing, i am setting up my new rig right now. Thanks for all the info!
Glad to help!
Man dude that arrow is moving.
KE is 124.78
M is 0.8319
Nice setup!
Hey bowmar do you think u could do some more traditional bow hunting videos? I loved watching your older ones
Bowmar thank you for sharing man I appreciate the video gave me more stuff to do on my bow
Thank you for taking the time to make this. Amazing video
My dream is for you to set up my bow. The knowledge and know-how you have us unreal
Love the video!! And YES let’s see a target panic video
Great video! Please do a target panic video...I'm desperate to beat this thing. I've been following Joel Turners stuff and watched Levi's videos too, but I'm interested in your process too. Beast broad head worked great on a doe down here in Georgia for the opener. It's so sharp when it went thru her she just stood there for about 8-10 seconds before she realized she couldn't breathe. Then she crashed 20 yards away. Love that head!
cant wait for that spike to come out, need one bad especially since i tend to grip slightly diffrent each time
Excellent thumbnail
Sweet info on torque tuning
Thanks for Great video ,will help a lot of New Archer's!!!!!!
Awesome video! Thank you for all the tips.
These are the videos we need!!🔥🔥
Would love a video on aiming better
I'd like to see how you do your center serving interweaving it...I usually struggle with separation an have to redo my serving every time I change my loop
awesome! as always
Great video and information, thank you for it! The problem is that the archery shops don’t want to to spend that much time on you with the bow you just bought. They are more about the money and the next dollar to keep the essentials on.
Awesome video, I wanna be able to do work on my own bows one day.
I’ve been waiting a long time for your in-depth bow tune video , the best info out there 💥
"If you run 85% letoff you're a loser" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I aprove this message 👍👍
That was an excellent video loved it. Thank you
YES FINALLY thank you for this
Seriously Josh?!?! Opening day is tomorrow and you drop this now!!!!
Josh, thoughts on tying serving above and below the knock so when the D loop needs to be replaced the knock fitment doesn't change, vs serving only below the knock. Thanks in advance!
I always try that but I have a hard time getting the nock to not point up instead of straight. But I can get it sometimes! So it just depends on the center serving diameter.
This video is awesome, I appreciate it
Would love a video of target panic
Good stuff Josh love this
Love this video man, I needed this info badly!! Side note, idk if you should be playing with fire inside the house, with your track record that is. lol
I’m just going to come and have you set me up lmao
Thank you so much, for this!!!
I’d love to see a video on how to aim better it would be so helpful
You make amazing archery content and products
So Josh you mentioned leaving the bow at full draw and even leaving your wife’s bow at full draw over night. But doesn’t the let off of the cams negate that idea? To me in my head a bow at steady state is actually putting more weight on your strings than say a bow drawn now only has that 17-25lbs on it? Best bow build I’ve ever seen. Thanks.
Great video, love this stuff
What grip are you using? Looks like a flat back grip not the Hoyt grips. To my knowledge the only compatible grip made is Black Claw. Thanks for reading.
I couldn’t get my pse evo nxt 33 to be as accurate as my elite. Took 5 minutes moving the nock point up a bit up and pin float is minimal 🤯
Please do a video on target panic!
We want the 12 hour video.
All the information please.
Hey just real quick question. I’ve been hearing a lot about how important the 3rd axis is on setting up the sight on a bow. I’ve shot a 5 pin for years but recently switched to a TR swft duo pin slider. And can’t find a third axis adjustment video on it? Any advice would be great
I’m 20 min in to watching this video..is there anyway I could just bring my bow to you 🤣 a you pour bow knowledge on me. It would be easier lol
