It doesn’t damage anything when chain slips on these I’ve done about 20 chains on these It just makes the car throw up bogus codes and run like shit untill eventually it stops running
I can confirm that this vehicle had valve to piston damage & did bend 6 intake valve. This valve damage was verified before & after cylinder head removal. Nice work Alan 💪💪
I have same code P0068 with LTFT %25 and STFT zero % , no vacuum leaks at all, The problem LTFT go down with high RPM but not less than 18% even if RPM 6000, any idea what cass this issue especially car run perfect with no issue and no rough idle ?
@@chrisisho2557sorry man I’m wrong there I thought that code had a different description I’m not sure you have to verify that map sensor could be intermittent maybe freeze frame data might be helpful there
Anyone have any suggestions? Im getting a p0068 on a 2.0 gen 1 tsi. I’ve replaced the map sensor, throttle body( re-adapted as well), purge valve and im still getting the code. I did a smoke test but i cant seem to see anything. What should be my next step? I also bought the car to a shop twice and they replaced the purge valve and thought that was it. The car has a stanfe 3 apr tune, k04 turbo, ie cold air intake, and new oem intake manifold.
Great fix Alan. Taped up to last.
First aid on the plastic pipe 😀

I had all intake valves bent due to valve piston interference

Could be the 02 sensor
@deisediagnostics629 you think O2 sensor cause P0068 code related to Map sensor ?

That’s a tough one the things I am thinking you have already done, verify the wiring maybe 🤔
