Here's what I think (or know, hahaha) about this BAND!!!! they have consistently written songs, that sound NOTHING like the last song they wrote or dropped,........been watchin' yinz youngins since you did that vid (what looked to be) outside of your school,......kind of looked like yinz were outside the gym doors, hahaha,......one of the biggest reasons I appreciate your music after ALL THESE YEARS, is it inspires me to write, and come up with something original myself. I got into this band after their first ep came out. Felt fresh and new at the time 10 or so years ago. I enjoyed everything up until this record because this felt so safe for them. I liked them because I saw them as almost the saviors of whatever you'd want to call alt/indie, their genre bending songs and general exploration made them unique. It's what's missing in todays bands. Unfortunately with this release everything is honestly bland. I still enjoy their growth and read an article saying they are "growing up" and want to write mature music. I don't think they were ever writing anything immature. I hope they don't overthink their craft because I know it's what a lot of us loved about them.
