So one time I was outside and there was two clouds that looked like they were about to merge as soon as it has been 1 secound as they touch We saw lightning it scattered all over the sky and it was like a octopus 😂 We were so scared everyone ran away it was so close to us My ears almost popped.
Positive charged lightning produces a louder clap of thunder simply because of heat and sound and hair raising sensation u get with it and ground to air leader's. Too compare it to say the Negative charged lightning witch produces ah more standard clap of thunder u normally hear from it and more cloud to cloud action
To bad almost all of the thunder is rather distorted... It would have been better if levels were down during recording (but I know one can easily forget this)
@Alec Miller That doesn't matter. The microphone has just been maladjusted or thunder was louder than expected. I always record soundlevels manually during thunderstorms myself, so I know that this is just distorted input sound, or distorted during export.

That lightning no joke
notice the lightning strike at 4;15 waz moving sideways. Thats because of the wind blowing causing the lightning to move a little bit when striking.

I live in Brisbane and we just got a big close lightning strike 2 of them and like the noise like I cried it was so loud
