We will write a calculation field , lod etc and sometimes we put it on details or rows or columns or sometimes maybe filter shelf also . What is the correct reasoning among the above scenarios. If possible please make a detailed video on that .Thanks Bhargavi .
It would depend on the requirement, if you take a field to row s, data members will appear as rows, or cut across rows, similarly if we take it to columns, members will be arranged as columns or data will cut across columns.
Filter is when we might not want the entire data, and need to restrict it by putting some conditions.

@@chanakya1040 hi, “detail” has a lot of functions, it may not be possible to explain here. I will try to make a video on that. It is used to increase the granularity, it is used to provide the detail without visually impacting the chart etc.

Format shading and try to adjust the row banding option.

We just connect to the data from that site, and replace the existing connection (eg. Test region data) with the QA region data. All the reports will then reflect data from the QA region.
Just need to replace the datasource.
