- In another historic match, Czechia mounted a comeback to draw level at 4-4 with Finland, before winning in a close penalty shootout! In this EFT, the Czechia team won both Sweden (6-4) and Finland!

why don't goalies cheat massively on the forehand, there's like 1 backhand finish from 14 attempts
Because it's easy to swap to backhand if you want but it's easier to shoot with forehand

That's right but this is a new rule since 2018, the ball can go backwards as long as the player does not go backwards at the same time

Do the goalies have to be on their knees? If not the would probably fair better if they played it like an Ice hockey goalie. Also let the shooter make the first move. This waving you hands stuff only takes you out of position and makes the save harder.
they don't have a stick, or maybe it would make sense for them. Take a hockey goalie's stick away and guess where they're gonna stay most of the time when the goal is under threat?
They can stand if they want. But its pretty much impossible to make any saves standing in this sport

They wait for keeper to make mistake. Floorball is not like icehockey
It’s a lot harder to make a goal in a shootout than it looks like

Trick is to move and dribble more left and right, wait gk to make a mistake and take opportunity easier said than done
floorball is a strange sport to me. It is for people who want to play hockey but cannot skate on ice.

I just love this sport. I dont understand why its not more popular. Its so fun to play and basically anyone who wants to try it can. Much easier to get started even in older days unlike hockey.
Of course hockey is more entertaining to watch but to play? Ehh. I would compare this to basketball, as boring to watch but fun to play

You know Mikko Rantanen and Teuvo Teräväinen played floorball, but they weren't good enough so both of them quit it. Teuvo Teräväinen said without floorball background he wouldn't be as good as he is now in ice hockey. So you think ice hockey goaltenders would save shots from floorball players? Fastest shots over 200 km/h, so give it a try.
