I thought I'd have a go at something a bit different after covering Pokemon for the last 10 months. I hope it turned out okay 😁 I've also added subtitles, but there might be some errors. Apologies if anyone spots them! Please consider leaving a like and subscribing! Thanks for watching.
It's incredible: I also started playing Kirby: Planet Robobot thanks to amiibo! 😂 It was early 2020 and I had started collecting various amiibo figures a few months ago. One day I found an incredible offer on an online store: the limited edition of Kirby: Planet Robobot with the most beautiful Kirby amiibo I've ever seen included! I couldn't resist, and despite having played only one Kirby game several years ago without ever finishing it (Kirby: Triple Deluxe), I bought it immediately. When it arrived, I thought, “Well, at this point, why not try the game too? Who knows… I might even like it…” One of the best video games I've ever played, an experience that made me the hardcore Kirby fan I am today. ❤️ P.S. Of course, now I have all the amiibo from the Kirby series, but the one of that little pink puffball on top of a Warp Star is and will remain one of my favorites. ⭐️
I really loved planet robobot, it holds a special place in my heart. I really hope they remake it! Though they probably won't, but I'm glad they remade return to dreamland.
I think the reason the amiibo functionality was nerfed in later games is because it would require needing to not only have an amiibo for every ability, but also an ability for every amiibo. Like Doctor was most certainly conceived for Dr. Mario, but then you also get weird ones like Rosalina granting Ice because no other character released at the time could even remotely be connected to ice in any way, or Bowser giving Stone instead of Fire because he was the only amiibo that could conceivably give Stone (unless you count Charizard, but in that case making it not Fire would be missing the character's whole point). The Smash ability was also reintroduced in the game because they were trying to figure out what the most likely ability outcome would be if Kirby inhaled himself, according to an interview. I feel like Star Allies could maybe conceivably have brought it back since it had the most abilities in the series, but the problem there would be having to make a Helper variant of stuff like Smash Kirby, plus having to still deal with certain abilities not being able to be compatible with any amiibo. Forgotten Land had to scale down it's ability count in favor of the evolution system the game introduced, so the game could not possibly have this system.
Thanks, some great points there I haven't played forgotten land yet so that is actually an interesting point! I hadn't considered that it may have felt forced for specific copy abilities, maybe the way to go could have been random copy abilities for all except the Kirby series figures?
@@HH-sn5qp Oh yeah definitely. I think when compared to the games released before and after it, there's a lack of "uniqueness". Chill game otherwise, but needed a little extra to rank higher.

Every kirby game is the best: planet robobot,Triple delux,Canvas curse, the amazing mirrors
I love that perspective, a mentality we should all try to have 👀

I love that they helped introduce people to new games! There's so many games I would never have tried otherwise.
I also really like the Kirby one! 😁

For sure, it deserves a lot more attention than it got. The current audience they have with the switch would be all over it

This game is also my favorite game of all time by the way, great video.

This and return to dreamland are just amazing. Then again, the only underwhelming Kirby game to me was star allies
I might be a weird one but I kinda liked what I played from Star Allies 😂😂
@@TheMarmotTV I found it too short with a lack of “new quirks” that the games usually have
