I experience real moments of clarity during Mercury Rx. I was born during a time when Mercury was in Retrograde. I've always been more of a listener than a talker and LOVED writing as a child. I love a good deep conversation as well. I aslo have a moon in Gemini in my 4th house so...
Exactly, say it differently! Personally, I need that -- I was one who had to go to a special class because some teachers became frustrated with me and my learning style which made me go in my shell more.

I really resonated with the part about explaining things with clarity to others. I think this really is a teacher energy in this sense - we can break complicated concepts into simple ones. By using metaphors, images or very simple daily examples. We care about clarity in communication and therefore we want to make it clear to others as well.
I also noticed that we might be generally intelligent people but we struggle to express it verbally, especially if we’re being asked without preparation. But when we take our time to think things through we can come up with really profound, in-depth answers and that is especially more visible through our writing. Like our intelligence is more expressed, more visible to others trough writing rather than speaking.
Also, in my own case I tend to think a lot and kinda get lost in my mind sometimes. But then I write down my thoughts, the situation etc. on paper and that makes it all much more clear. Like putting things into shelves to get more structure and order.
I often prefer texting than talking on the phone (especially with people that I’m not close to). Also I never understood how people could do spontaneous interviews. Cause it was never my thing to give spontaneous speeches. I need time to really think things through and only then give the right answer that I wouldn’t regret later.
The good thing about this placement is that we’re less likely to blurt things out (eg. in a mean, unconscious way) and then later regret it.
We tend to be good listeners. We don’t talk just for the sake of talking. We really want to say meaningful things when we talk. And as you were saying, we really want to be heard and understood.

This just blew me away ,everything you said is right about me! I have Mercury Retrograde in Libra in the first house with my sun and rising there.I also have Mars Retrograde in the 7th house with Aries and Jupiter retrograde in the 9th house with Gemini.

What can you say about someone having BOTH, Mercury and Venus retrograde natally in the 3rd house of Scorpio, along with the Sun? I've heard conflicting theories on this aspect and would love to hear your thoughts. Hint: lol, maybe a future video on venus retrograde???

My husband was born on a mercury retrograde station on May 31, 1988. I was born on that same mercury retrograde but on June 24,1988, the direct station. I have Mercury at 25 Leo retro ( Sun 29 Leo 11th house.) Mercury s midpoint with Pluto at 10 Leo 10th house is 17 Leo opposition 17 Aquarius moon and square the nodes of Mercury at 17 Scorpio So. node/ 17 Taurus No. node. This makes a grand cross. Do you use the nodes of the planets when they conjunct or interplay with natal planets? Also does it have to do with unfinished business from past lives? Progressed Mercury went direct when I was 11. Before that I carried on from a past life and realized it at 11 yrs. old. Also I was misunderstood( people actually got angry at me) when I talked, so I gave over to showing symbols and if they didn't get it I was detached and went about my business.
