Back in 2010 Amy Lee was helping an organization dedicated to treat victims of sex trafficking, it was like a rehab place where they helped all these victims and she even donated a piano to this place and while working along with these girls she heard her stories and got inspired to write this song, so the lyrics are about these girls and their stories while keeping some hope for them in the bridge, it's about letting go things that hurt us in the past in a way.
Thank you for the beautiful song choice and reaction. This particular song reflects so much of my own feelings and thoughts which has buried deep in my soul, brings emotions to the surface. The song is so beautiful and at the same time makes me feel so sad, still able to smile through it. 🥲❤
Evanescence will ALWAYS hold a very special place in my heart, even though I’ve moved on to listening to other bands quite a bit more now. In my book you can’t go wrong reacting to them, especially Amy. Have you seen Amy’s solo piece “Speak To Me” yet? If not, it’s DEFINITELY one to check out. She wrote it for the movie “Voice From The Stone”, a supernatural thriller. If I remember correctly it was used for the end credits.
Amy Lee will forever be one of my favorite singers my sister and i used to listen to, my sister was trained and was in the same tone as amy lee so whenever i hear evanescence its like im listening to my sister sing and still with me
Liked it, I came back to it 🤭, you definitely got the drift! Amy is such a great singer and doesn’t deserve some of the negative vibes she gets off some people!
You should react to Break In, Halestorm featuring Amy Lee. Back in 2013 they were touring together and Lzzy Hale would sing Break In. Amy asked her if she could come on stage and sing harmonies with her. Always a concert favorite. They finally did a studio version in 2020 or 2022. You should do a reaction. It is amazing.
It always seems to be the same tracks by Evanescence that get reacted to. One track that I can't recall being reacted to is Imperfection... It is a deep and thought provoking song that litterally saved my life once (too long a story to put on here) so I would love to see you react to this song 🙂
Nice Reaction! I love Evanescence, but I have never heard this song. Somebody gave a good recommendation. If you want to listen to a rocking song and two awesome women vocalists then listen and react to Amy Lee and Lzzy Hale do a cover of Heavy by the band Linkin Park. It's during an Evanescence concert and Lzzy came out and sang the song with Amy.
