That pike looked huge on camera lol!
I mean there was some blue gill near it.... that was like a banana for scale. But then I rewatched it and I guess you're right. The blue gill was further than i thought.

Nice vid. Last week we had 5 Pike that looks as big as our hut was wide swim under our sight hole. Its so intense when they come by, especially when you catchem! We wanted to know what pike look like on panoptix but no one bothered to look because we couldnt take our eyes off the pike through the sight hole.
I've literally never watched a fishing video and gone "Holy shit, I know exactly where that is." Until right now. Literally 5 minutes from my house.

perch do the same thing up in canada. theres perch all day then every 10 mins or so they all leave and a pike comes threw 2 minutes later then once the pikes leaves perch come back.

I just think it’s HIGHLY irresponsible of you guys to drill all of those holes in those iced ponds and then just run off and leave the holes unplugged so that all of the water leaks out for the next guys. Thanks a lot Googans!

A catch and cook guide for crappie that isn’t ice fishing would be awesome. I like the ice fishing videos but I can’t do any myself since I’m in California. It’s the only time I see you and the other Googans go for them. I’ve only caught one crappie in my life, it was a giant 2+lber but it wasn’t intentional as I was fishing a 4” swim bait on an under spin for bass lol. Really cool video today though.

What underwater camera are you guys using??,deff gotta get one for this year.....they look massive on camera then you pull em up and thier like 5-6" long 🙈

The aqua view is tiny I like the vexlar fish scout better and using camera is way more fun
is fluorocarbon pike safe? I always just use fluorocarbon and 2 pikes have not broken me off.

I told you before you need to come up to Michigan and fish with me. Live near Saginaw Bay and river put you on some walleye, have inland lakes to put you on 12+ inch Crappie and 9+ inch gills and the occasional pike 28+ inch.
at my camp ground I catch to many bluegill it gets annoying how many I catch, like I don't even want to catch them 😬😨🐟🐟🐟

Using underwater camera to catch a fish is nice as we get to see full action from setting the hook to landing the fish and it will save a lot of time specially for those who have to take permission from home or wife to go for fishing🤣🤣🤣🤣

@@TheRipMAT I disagree with your ID. It's a pumpkinseed. The distinct blue markings on the gill plate and extensive white markings surrounding the "Ear Flap" lead me to this ID. Probably one of the more difficult Panfish IDs, but I am very familiar with the species. Got into a batch of some slab seeds today on Lake Champlain through the ice.
Definitely a pumpkinseed.
Not to argue but pumpkinseeds have deffinate stripes running from the whole way eye to the ear, while redears have blotches on their cheek plates like the one he caught. Either way they both stink up a pan and fill the belly.
