In case anyone was curious:
The current all-tackle world-record muskie measured 60 1/4 inches and weighed 67 pounds, 8 ounces, a fish caught by Cal Johnson in 1949 at Lake Court Oreilles near Hayward, Wisc.
Yeah he's not even close he'd have to double the size!

I understand people not wanting there spots burnt but it's really none of their business. No one owns the lake and it's against the law for them to try and stop you guys from fishing. It's just not ok to try and use intimidation when people are just trying to have a good time.

The only time I've been harrased while fishing is by people asking if I've caught anything or if the fishing is any good

Its good to see young men fishing and enjoying themselves. Never mind sour people, be nice and make their day, be the better Sportsman and Gentleman.
Clearly that guy is an idiot but a fisherman's secrecy usually comes from an interest in conservation. I have seen many lakes destroyed by over-fishing and because people are generally lazy and unwilling to scout/research, publicly broadcasting a hot bite can quickly turn into an all-out fiesta. Plus it is way more satisfying to investigate and locate fish yourself than to piggyback off some other guys hard work. This is general stuff and I am not suggesting that these guys are guilty of that.
