This video is about a truck camper top tent made by DAC for a full-size pickup truck with a camper shell. The purpose of the tent is to extend the usable space in the camper shell, making it roomier for sleeping in. It covers the top portion of the camper shell and wraps around the bottom of the tailgate. With it on, I could fit an 8ft surfboard and a twin mattress next to each other in the bed. Its easy to set up, and can be done by one person in just a few minutes. It has zipper doors and a screen for air flow in case its hot inside of the camper shell.

I’ve had one of these for several years. Best fix for the tailgate gap is a little kid’s pool noodle cut in half lengthwise, and then cut to the proper width.

There’s always some assembly/ prep involved with any tent. At least this one won’t get soggy floor like a regular tent would.

Readjust both sides of the tent by the tailgate then add a noodle between the tailgate sides and the tent. I do that on mine to make a tight fit.
For your tail gate gap they sell some insulation at Home Depot. That is pretty much like a pool noodle. And it works perfect.
Addition of magnets in places where floppy material is located may help, or velcro tabs. This design is better then some other options on the market.
My truck is red and black.
Why is there only a white and blue option. I supose for the limited use of this it doesn't mater.
use magnets and bug net for the bottom.
I wish it was just a little bigger so it wouldn't put downward pressure on the window shocks. Would also like a longer piece on the roof so when it rains the water doesn't get underneath the material and run down into the opening of the glass door. For $200 it should be somewhat adjustable for the reasons mentioned. Still a good design.

I found that the sharp corners of the tailgate window ripped the nylon that it came in contact with on a windy night. I taped a pool noodle on those two corners and problem solved!

Can't find a full-size one. I have a mid-rise topper on a full-size truck. Wonder if yours would fit.
The Bug Issue is what kills this. You can see in the first few minutes of your video how the side blow open when there is wind, which would let in all kinds of bugs. From 1:06 to 1:14 especially.... Wondering how this worked out for you a few months after you posted this?
A couple magnets should help with that
