- We have had a tough year in the Basketball Champion's League, with our Benfica team battling injuries, myself included, since the qualifiers in Antalya, Turkey. We were 0-5 going into this game against Chemnitz, and we are not an 0-5 team. I was finally feeling healthy, and despite our bench being limited once again because of injuries, we were determined to fight as hard as possible for the win.

It's so refreshing to have a player like you in Benfica, just wanted to thank you for the respect and the way you talk about the club. I know that unlike other teams in Europe we don't fill the stadium and that's because here in Portugal we care a whole lot more about football. The Portuguese league isn't that interesting either for foreigners so when I knew that you stayed another year, me and other benfiquistas felt really grateful. This years Champions league didn't go well at all but we still felt the strong team spirit that this team has, and it is in moments like this when things aren't going well that is harder to stay together and you guys did and made an incredible game. I have no doubt that you will achieve the highest level, you deserve it.

Active recovery is extremely valuable.Going hard all the time has diminishing returns in the long run.Your mobility routine is very comprehensive.I am going to follow it for myself.Father Time and old injuries are catching up with me.

Yeah Monsanto may be bigger, but this park has way less people... only thing I dont like is that its super windy haha
European basketball is limited with resources, so BCL has only 32 teams and overall you have 6 games in first group stage (draw matters!) and you must not finish dead last in the group. As you said, first condition is that you have full team arsenal available. Personally I think that BCL could have 40 teams and 5 teams in the group and 8 games at that stage, but it is what it is. Sad part of european basketball is that every win in BCL should be awarded like in UEFA games in soccer, but currently there is no € for that. Anyway, I think you are really optimistic with 4-2 predicition, I think that 3-3 would be good for Benfica. Tortona and Manresa are two currently playoff seeded in italian Serie A and spanish ACB and those are probably two of the top european leagues that your snicker has not stepped yet. Second...there is a possibility, a big debate that NBA can merge with FIBA to have a more similar game and rules...since the beginning of this season NBA rating are dropping 42% and the game needs a big change....do you think that this change in NBA game and rules could open a possibility for players overseas that are playing at an high level to have more opportunities to play in the NBA?
This could be a BIG change for the game worldwide and its great news because if NBA plays like the rest of the world we can actually see teams of euroleague playing against NBA teams in a worldwide competition to became world champions!
